HBO Max has announced the last DC TV show coming out this year. 2025 is set to be a huge year for DC, particularly with the launch of the new DC Universe (DCU) led by James Gunn and Peter Safran, starting with the new Superman movie. The excitement continues with the return of Peacemaker for its second season, which is building on the DCU’s connected storyline by introducing ideas like Checkmate and the planet Salvation.

Beyond the main DC Universe, Amazon Prime Video recently released an animated story called Bat-Fam, which showed a fresh take on Batman’s family. Now, details have surfaced about DC’s last TV show planned for 2025. HBO Max has confirmed that Season 3A of Batwheels will debut on December 5, 2025, and will be the final DC series released that year.

Cartoon Network’s Batwheels is a first-of-its-kind Batman show designed for preschoolers, and it’s been popular enough to earn a third season! The show features a team of heroic vehicles – like the Batmobile, Batgirl Cycle, Batwing, and Batcomputer – who work together to fight crime.

I’m really excited about this new Batman project – it’s one of four fresh takes on the character coming out, and the voice cast is incredible! Ethan Hawke as Batman? Yes, please!
