Prime Video currently features three original TV shows produced by A24, including the animated comedy 1 Happy Family USA and the college comedy-drama Overcompensating*. Both of these shows premiered in 2025.
Vivienne Medrano created Hazbin Hotel, a musical animated series for adults. The show centers on Charlie, Lucifer’s daughter, who runs a hotel dedicated to rehabilitating sinners and preventing their annual destruction by Heaven. Season 2 of Hazbin Hotel began with two episodes released on Wednesday, October 29th, continuing storylines from major cliffhangers.

It’s also the number one show in 23 countries, including the United States, Argentina, Chile, France, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Spain, and Thailand, demonstrating its widespread appeal.
The first season of Hazbin Hotel left viewers with several unanswered questions. Although the hotel’s inhabitants successfully defeated Adam and forced Heaven’s army to retreat, Lute survived and seems to have a link to Lilith, who is currently in Heaven. Additionally, Sir Pentious achieved redemption and became the first sinner to enter Heaven after making a selfless sacrifice.
The success of Season 2 wasn’t just due to the continuing story. The featured song, “Gravity,” quickly became popular, racking up over 3 million streams on Spotify in just three days and reaching number 52 on the UK’s Official Singles Chart Top 100.
