Brainstorm Media has picked up Hayden Panettiere’s psychological thriller, Sleepwalker, and will release it soon.
The new thriller Sleepwalker will be released in theaters on January 9, 2026. The film, produced by Verdi Productions and Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way, tells the story of a successful artist struggling with grief after losing her daughter in a car accident. The accident also left her abusive husband in a coma. As she deals with her loss, she begins sleepwalking and experiencing increasingly vivid and disturbing visions of her husband, leading her to question what is real and what is a nightmare.
The recent release of Sleepwalker has sparked rumors that Neve Campbell and Neve Campbell will reunite in Scream 7. These rumors started when Entertainment Weekly initially reported Panettiere would appear alongside Campbell in the new film. However, the publication quickly took back the statement, clarifying that Panettiere’s participation hasn’t been officially confirmed.
