The stars of the hit TV series Hart To Hart reunited on Tuesday.

Robert Wagner, age 96, recently posted a warm photo on Instagram with Stefanie Powers, 83. Wagner is best known for his role as Jonathan Hart, and Powers played his on-screen wife, Jennifer Hart, in the popular television series.

The popular actor shared a heartwarming message about a recent get-together with Jonathan and Jennifer, calling it a ‘special’ moment. They also expressed gratitude to Stefanie for a lovely birthday visit. ❤️

They were arm-in-arm as they beamed for the camera.

Hart to Hart was a popular television series that ran from 1979 to 1984. It followed a wealthy and attractive married couple who spent their time solving mysteries. The show was created by Sidney Sheldon.

The show centers on Jonathan, a self-made millionaire, and Jennifer, a freelance writer – a couple without children who shower their rescue dog, Freeway, with love and attention.

Their sidekick was the streetwise butler Max, played by Lionel Stander.

The show featured appearances by well-known actors and personalities like Ray Milland, Capucine, Eve Arden, baseball legend Tommy Lasorda, Tippi Hedren, Julie Newmar, and Robert Davi.

Later, there were several spin off Hart To Hart movies.

He is happily married to actress Jill St John, 85.

They tied the knot in 1990 after eight years of courtship.

Oh my gosh, I just adore how these two have been friends forever – all the way back to the 50s! And it’s so heartbreaking knowing he was close to him and Natalie Wood. I mean, Natalie was just radiant, and it still gets me thinking about that awful accident off Catalina Island back in ’81. Such a tragedy, losing her… and I know he felt it deeply.

Natalie had been drinking with her Brainstorm co-star, Christopher Walken. She went to bed before he did, and her body was found the following day.

The actor was a suspect in the case, but he was never arrested. Despite much speculation, there was no evidence to suggest he was involved in his wife’s death.

Initially, authorities determined her death was an accidental drowning. However, when the case was revisited in 2011, the official cause of death was updated to simply ‘drowning with other contributing factors,’ leaving some aspects of her death unexplained.

Robert was officially cleared as a person of interest in 2022.

His daughter, Natasha Gregson Wagner has fiercely defended her father amid all the speculation.

In her 2020 memoir, More Than Love, Natalie Wood wrote about her parents, stating that no one ever doubted her father’s love for her mother or how heartbroken he was when she died. She also acknowledged that the exact circumstances of her mother’s death remain a mystery.

Natasha, who was eleven years old when her mother passed away, is choosing to concentrate on what she believes to be true: ‘My father would never have hurt my mother, and he would have done everything to protect her if he’d known she was in danger,’ she writes. This helps her cope with her grief.

‘And I focus on my love for my mother, my dad, my family’, Natasha stated.

My mother wasn’t defined by sadness or misfortune. She lived a full life, dedicated to her passions, family, and everything she loved.

Robert and Natalie married each other twice—once in 1957 and again in 1972. They were married from 1957 to 1962, divorced, and then remarried in 1972.

In December 2024, Wagner shared a photo from his 1957 wedding to Natalie Wood, the star of West Side Story, along with a heartfelt message about his enduring love for her. He wrote, ‘Sixty-six years ago today, December 28th, 1957, Natalie became my wife after being my girlfriend. Happy Anniversary, Nat. It’s more than just love.’
