Harry Styles has been announced as a BRIT Awards performer at next month’s ceremony in Manchester.
The nominations for this year’s BRIT Awards, happening on February 28th, were revealed earlier this week. Lola Young and Olivia Dean received the most nominations, with five each.
Harry, age 31, excited his fans by announcing a seven-city tour for this summer and his new album, KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY, which comes out on March 6th.
Last week, he shared the first single from his upcoming album, “Aperture,” and fans have been enjoying the new song.
The BRIT Awards will be Harry’s live TV performance debut of music from his new album.
He hasn’t performed on stage for three years when he was on his Love on Tour run of shows.
Harry’s tour begins in Amsterdam on May 16th and will conclude in Sydney, Australia.
During his tour, he’ll be performing with several special guests, including Robyn, Shania Twain, Fcukers, Jorja Smith, Jamie xx, Fousheé, and Skye Newman.
General sale for tickets to the London shows will open January 30 at 11am.
Recently, the cost of his presale tickets has received criticism, with many people saying they are too expensive.
Harry added two extra shows at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday, following criticism from fans who called him ‘greedy’ and ‘out of touch’ due to high ticket prices for his Together Together tour.
The singer originally planned for 10 shows at the famous venue, but will now perform a record-breaking 12 times this summer.
Harry Styles will perform at Wembley Stadium more times on this tour than any other artist, breaking Coldplay’s record of ten shows from their summer 2023 tour.
Taylor Swift recently broke Michael Jackson’s record for the most performances by a solo artist at Wembley Stadium. She performed eight shows during her Eras Tour, surpassing Jackson’s seven.
Harry Styles will be performing at the famous venue on multiple dates in June and July: June 12th, 13th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 23rd, 26th, and 27th, as well as July 1st, 3rd, and 4th.
When tickets for Harry’s tour went on sale, many fans criticized him for being ‘greedy’ and ‘out of touch’ due to the very high prices.
Lola and Olivia received the most nominations for the 2026 BRIT Awards last week, with five each. Lily Allen, making a successful return to music, was nominated in three categories.
After eliminating separate awards for male and female artists in 2022, the award show has received significant criticism due to the lack of female nominees. This was especially noticeable in 2023, when all the nominees for Artist of the Year were men.
This year, there’s been a significant shift, as women and non-binary individuals now make up 70% of the nominations.
Lily returned to music in October 2025 with ‘West End Girl,’ her first album in seven years – a project she described as a statement of empowerment.
The 40-year-old singer’s new album explores the breakdown of her marriage to David Harbour, the star of ‘Stranger Things,’ and reveals details about a reported affair during their relationship.
Lily is competing with Lola and Olivia for the Artist of the Year award at the February 28th ceremony. She’s also up for Album of the Year and is nominated as a Pop Act.
Lily’s popular album honestly and painfully described the end of her four-year marriage to David, focusing heavily on his affair.
I’m so excited for Lola! She’s nominated for both Breakthrough Artist and Alternative/Rock Act, which is amazing. I’m really hoping she’ll be at the ceremony, but I haven’t heard anything about whether she plans to attend or not.
She reacted to the news with disbelief and excitement, saying she couldn’t believe she’d received five BRIT Award nominations. It felt like a dream come true, and she half-expected to wake up at any moment.
I’m truly touched and incredibly grateful for this recognition. It’s an honor to be considered with such a talented group of nominees.
After collapsing onstage during a New York performance, she canceled the rest of her tour in September to focus on her well-being and mental health.
In September 2024, the performer had an accident on stage and was helped off by staff. She later let her fans know she was okay.
In December 2025, Lola shared a heartfelt message on social media, saying she was feeling much better and in a good headspace as she rejoined the platform.
In a recent post, Lola shared her thanks to everyone who supported her and gave her the time she needed to feel better.
‘I’ve felt so much love and support from you all and it has helped more than you will ever know.
I’m slowly starting to perform again and working towards my goals. Wishing everyone happy holidays, and I look forward to seeing you all in 2026! Life isn’t perfect, but I’m feeling good today. Sending all my love, Lola x.
Olivia, age 26, had a breakout year, becoming the first female artist since Adele in 2021 to simultaneously reach No. 1 on the UK charts with both a single (“Man I Need”) and an album (“The Art Of Loving”).
She has been nominated in five categories and will be performing at the Award ceremony.
It’s amazing to go from being a student in the audience at The BRIT School to performing there ten years later, and I can’t wait to see everyone in Manchester, said Ms. Dean.
The star began writing songs at the tender age of 16, and taught herself to play guitar and piano.
Olivia trained at the Brit School, a performing arts and technology institution, and is up for the Grammy Award for Best New Artist.
She first gained attention in 2018 with her single, “Reason To Stay,” and followed it up with two EPs released in 2019 and 2020.
In 2021, Amazon Music recognized her as an up-and-coming artist of the year. She also had a hit song in the UK, reaching number 19 on the charts with her version of Nat King Cole’s classic, “Christmas Song.”
Aside from being nominated, Olivia is also reported to perform at the Brit Awards.
After winning the 2025 Mercury Prize for his album, ‘People Watching,’ Sam Fender has received four nominations for the BRIT Awards.
Oh my gosh, Dave just swept the awards! I’m absolutely buzzing because he’s been recognized as Artist of the Year, and his album won Album of the Year – seriously, it deserved it so much! And of course, he totally nailed it as the best Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act. I knew he was amazing, and now everyone else does too! I’m so proud!
Last year, the 27-year-old artist released his third album, ‘The Boy Who Played The Harp.’ He’s now made history as the first British rapper to have three albums reach the top of the UK charts.
Raye received one nomination this year, following her incredible success last year when she won a record-breaking six awards.
The singer started the night strong, winning Song of the Year for her popular track “Escapism” featuring 070 Shake. She went on to also win awards for R&B Act and Best New Artist.
I was absolutely thrilled to see this artist make history at the BRITs! They completely smashed the record for the most awards won in one night – it used to be four, shared by Blur, Adele, and Harry Styles, but now it’s all theirs! It was such an incredible moment to witness.
British icons Pulp have received their first nomination for Group of the Year since 1996.
This year’s nominations include strong representation from Hollywood, with the KPop-inspired group HUNTR/X from Netflix receiving a nomination for International Song of the Year for their track ‘Golden,’ and also being considered for International Group of the Year.
Cynthia Erivo received her first nomination for Song of the Year with Mastercard for her performance of “Defying Gravity” from the musical Wicked.
Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, and Chappell Roan are also nominated for awards, joining other international artists.
The BRIT Awards are back on February 28th, and this year they’re being held in Manchester at the brand new Co-op Live arena, a major center for music and culture.
The annual music awards show, traditionally held at London’s O2 Arena since 2011 and known as the biggest night in British music, will be held in Manchester this year. The Daily Mail reports that the event is expected to move to different cities around the UK in the years to come.
Jack Whitehall is back to host The BRIT Awards for the sixth time. He’s hosted the show before in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2025.
He left the show in 2022 when Mo Gilligan hosted for two years, and in 2024, Maya Jama, Roman Kemp, and Clara Amfo all co-hosted together.
