Harry Potter’s Tom Felton & Jason Isaacs Reunite for the Sweetest Reason: ‘So Proud’

As a long-time fan, I have to say this has been an incredible month! Not only is Season 2 of the delightful baking show Wizards of Baking finally here, but we’re also getting a brand new audio adaptation of the original novel, complete with a fantastic cast. And to top it all off, I recently had the pleasure of seeing reprise his iconic role as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway – a truly magical experience!

As many fans hoped, Tom Felton and Jason Isaacs were happily reunited! Felton is currently performing on Broadway in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and Isaacs recently went to see the show. He then shared a heartwarming message for his former on-screen son on Instagram, confirming their sweet reunion.

Though Tom Felton and Jason Isaacs portrayed the villains Draco and Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, they share a genuinely warm and supportive friendship in real life. Their bond is actually much stronger than the often-contentious relationship between their characters as father and son.

In a heartfelt caption, Isaacs wrote, “I came, I saw, he conquered.” He then praised his son, saying he rose to the challenge and exceeded expectations. Isaacs admired his son’s incredible courage and expressed immense pride and joy in witnessing his success.

The photo collection featured Aidan Close, who plays Scorpius in the play, sharing a heartfelt hug with Tom Felton. It also showed a clip of the cast taking their final bow. Jason Isaacs took pictures with Felton, both while he was in his Draco costume and after the performance.

Felton expressed his gratitude to his father in the comments, writing, ‘I’ve never been prouder to be a Malfoy.’ He also included a green heart emoji to show his allegiance to Slytherin, his Hogwarts house.

It wasn’t a surprise to see them together, considering their connection on screen. The White Lotus actor followed through on his promise and attended to support his former on-screen son at the play. Isaacs shared his excitement online, writing, “Can’t wait, son – I’ll be in the front row with tears in my eyes! X,” just after it was announced that Felton would be involved.

Tom Felton Has Multiple Projects in the Works

Tom Felton, best known for playing Draco Malfoy, is incredibly busy despite his current Broadway show, which runs until May 10, 2026. He’s also working on two new projects, including a leading role in a series where he plays an ordinary person living amongst those with genetically enhanced abilities.

This movie is a satire of period dramas like The Gilded Age and Bridgerton. The cast includes Thomasin McKenzie, Ben Radcliffe, Katherine Waterston, Emma Laird, Tom Goodman-Hill, Ramon Tikaram, Tim Mcmullan, Anna Maxwell Martin, Sue Johnston, and Damian Lewis.
