Louis Cordice, known for his role in the Harry Potter films, is expecting his fourth child. He and his wife recently announced they are pregnant.
The 36-year-old actor is known for playing Blaise Zabini, a student from Slytherin house, in the Harry Potter films. He appeared in ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ and both parts of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,’ released between 2009 and 2011.
He and his wife, Natalie, announced they were expecting a baby girl on Instagram last year, shortly after getting married in June. He shared a picture of their ultrasound with his followers.
The couple already have two daughters together: five-year-old Isla and two-year-old Rose. Louis also has a nine-year-old son named Kaise.
The former child star posted a sweet picture of his daughters, who were all smiles while holding a sash announcing they’re going to be big sisters and revealing that the new baby is a boy. He shared how excited he is for them to take on their new role.
He expressed his joy about expecting his fourth child and shared how proud and thankful he is for his wonderful wife.
He announced that they’re expecting another baby girl, and he’s incredibly excited to meet her.
Isla and Rose are about to become big sisters – they’ll have a little sister soon! They may not understand it now, but they’re going to be wonderful at the job.
I’m incredibly proud of my wife. Seeing her through her pregnancies and welcoming our three wonderful daughters is something I’ll always cherish. I’m so thankful for the beautiful family we’ve created together.
‘Not long now until we meet you, baby girl ❤️,’ he concluded.
After becoming well-known for his role in the popular wizarding film series, Louis decided to leave acting and pursue a career in recruitment. He now works as a senior specialist, finding talent in the finance industry.
Despite his busy schedule, he still makes time to meet Harry Potter fans at events around the globe, from cities like Paris and Mexico City.
He previously shared that he feels fortunate to travel and attend conventions, allowing him to meet Harry Potter fans, including those who are now parents.
Louis put on a Harry Potter-themed concert in December. Before that, in November 2024, he got together with two of his former co-stars, Tom Felton and Scarlett Byrne, who played Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson alongside him.
He excited his followers by posting photos of the three of them together behind the scenes at a convention, jokingly writing ‘Team Slytherin’ as the caption.
Okay, so at the convention, Louis totally blew my mind! He said he was actually in Harry Potter before anyone even knew! Apparently, they used him as a stand-in – a body double – for Alfred Enoch, who played Dean Thomas! I knew he was destined for greatness, but to find out he was part of the wizarding world all along? Seriously, I almost fainted!
He lost his original job because he grew too tall, but then got an agent who helped him secure the role of Blaise.
I first got involved in acting as a stand-in for Dean Thomas. When I was in year 7, I was chosen from school to be his double for two films – the second and fourth in the series – and that experience is what sparked my interest in acting.
After getting an agent, I started auditioning and surprisingly landed the role of Harry Potter after just three tries. It was amazing to go from being an extra to playing a main character in the films.
In 2018, while speaking at a convention in Texas, Louis shared how happy he was to be back filming, explaining that he needed a moment to fully appreciate being on set again.
Having previously been in a difficult situation where I wasn’t sure I’d return, I truly savored every moment of being back.
He’s remained friends with Josh Herdman, who played Gregory Goyle, and proved their lasting connection by attending Herdman’s wedding in 2023. Herdman is now a mixed martial artist.
In the last Harry Potter film, Louis’s part grew considerably when the actor who played Vincent Crabbe was removed. This meant Blaise took over Crabbe’s role for the remainder of The Deathly Hallows.
Jamie Waylett originally auditioned to play Dudley Dursley, but he was ultimately cast as one of Draco Malfoy’s sidekicks, Goyle, alongside Josh.
As a lifestyle expert, I often get asked about the actors who brought the Harry Potter world to life. Did you know Jamie Waylett, who played the character Crabbe – one of Draco Malfoy’s sidekicks – in six of the eight films? He was actually a student at the same time as Harry Potter in the books, and his father had some rather… controversial affiliations. He was involved with the films from 2001 to 2009, and really helped create that memorable Slytherin dynamic.
One of the most iconic moments featured Harry and Ron disguising themselves as Crabbe and Goyle using Polyjuice Potion in ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets’. They did this to try and get Malfoy to reveal a secret.
As a lifestyle expert, I always appreciate a good plot twist, and this one’s a heartbreaker! In the final movie, just like in the book, poor Crabbe meets a tragic end. He accidentally kills himself with his own spell while trying to take out Harry, Ron, and Hermione in the Room of Requirement. It’s a dramatic moment, and really highlights the chaos and danger they’re facing.
Between the sixth and seventh movies in the series, Waylett was arrested after police discovered he was growing marijuana at his home.
He later admitted to possessing both cannabis and a knife and received a sentence of 120 hours of community service.
Because of this, he was also cut from the last two Harry Potter movies. Instead of his character casting the dangerous Fiendfyre spell and dying, another actor, playing Blaise Zabini, took over as Draco Malfoy’s main sidekick, and Goyle was the one who ultimately met his end with the spell.
Waylett was arrested again two years later for his involvement in the London riots of August 2011.
Police charged him with violent disorder, damaging property, and receiving stolen items. Specifically, they accused him of having a Molotov cocktail while robbing a pharmacy.
During the trial, Waylett’s lawyer explained that he had difficulty adjusting to fame and started using cannabis. The lawyer stated Waylett felt like his acting career was already fading by the time he was 22.
She explained that while he was lucky to be in the Harry Potter movies, it ultimately wasn’t a positive experience for him.
He was convicted of causing violent disorder and possessing stolen items, resulting in a two-year prison sentence.
Since finding fame in the early wizarding world films, Waylett hasn’t landed any new acting jobs. He started using the video platform Cameo in 2019, where he creates personalized videos for fans, currently charging £149 per video.
