Calista Flockhart was seen with a fresh, makeup-free face while out and about in Los Angeles on Friday.
Calista Flockhart, the actress known for Ally McBeal, was seen running errands in a relaxed outfit of jeans and a black top. Her husband, Harrison Ford, is being recognized at the Actor Awards this Sunday.
Looking relaxed and comfortable, actress Allison Janney was spotted walking around Los Angeles, a far cry from her typically glamorous red carpet appearances.
She gave fans a glimpse of her natural visage as she slipped off her sunglasses back in her car.
As a longtime fan, I have to say this latest sighting was really something! It’s been a while since they were last seen showing affection in public – I remember photos circulating of them on the New York subway way back in April 2025, and that was a rare treat for us all.
Prior to this, Flockhart hadn’t been seen on the red carpet since September 2025, when she attended the Emmy Awards with her husband, who is famous for his role in Indiana Jones.
Their relationship, now more than two decades strong, began almost by accident.
Oh my gosh, I remember it like it was yesterday! It was the Golden Globes in 2002, and seeing them together for the first time just made my year. Harrison Ford, already a legend at 60, was getting an award, and darling Calista Flockhart, looking absolutely radiant at 38, was nominated for Ally McBeal. It was magic, I tell you, magic! I knew right then they were meant to be.
Despite a 22‑year age gap that had tabloids buzzing, the two hit it off immediately.
Over time, both actors have laughed about the initial gossip, especially the famous tale of Flockhart supposedly throwing a drink at Ford to try and impress him.
During interviews together, both men dismissed the story as untrue. Ford actually confessed that he was the one who accidentally spilled wine when they first met.
Oh my gosh, their love story is just everything! It wasn’t some whirlwind romance, you know? They took things so slowly, dating for eight whole years! And then, finally, on Valentine’s Day in 2009 – can you even imagine?! – Ford proposed while they were all on vacation with family. It was absolutely perfect, I was practically screaming when I found out!
They got married in a small, private ceremony in Santa Fe, New Mexico the following June, with just their closest family members there.
Calista’s son, Liam, who she adopted in 2001 before she met Ford, has always been a very important part of her life and their relationship.
Ford was already a father to four children from earlier relationships, but he happily welcomed Liam into his family.
Ford later shared with The New York Times that when he first met Liam, the fact that the boy was just learning to walk didn’t bother him at all.
After Ford married Calista, he officially adopted her son, Liam, and becoming a family with Liam played a significant role in their relationship.
Ford often compliments Flockhart’s parenting skills, once telling Reader’s Digest that she was a fantastic mother to Liam, even before they became a couple.
Both have acknowledged the age difference openly.
Flockhart shared with People that the 22-year age difference between them isn’t an issue in their relationship, even playfully mentioning she often doesn’t even think about it.
Ford has also reflected candidly on how his prior parenting experiences shaped his role with Liam.
In a 2010 interview, he told The Independent that raising his older children actually helped him become a better parent, and he feels more capable now than when they were younger.
Although Ford and Flockhart are famous as a couple, they’ve generally chosen to keep their personal lives out of the public eye and away from the attention of tabloids.
Calista has worked as an actress, performing in plays like ‘Curse of the Starving Class,’ and has lived in Los Angeles, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and New York depending on her roles.
Even after many years of marriage, the couple has never acted together on screen. Harrison Ford explains this is simply because it never worked out logistically.
Their marriage has also weathered Ford’s past experiences.
He had been married two times before. His first marriage was to Mary Marquardt, and they had two sons together. He later married screenwriter Melissa Mathison, and they had one son and one daughter.
Even though those previous relationships didn’t work out, Ford believes his connection with Flockhart is special and built to last.
