Harrison Ford and Michelle Randolph Steal the Show at 1923 Season 2 Premiere

On Wednesday, Harrison Ford made a comeback, gracing the red carpet for the debut of the second season of his acclaimed Yellowstone spin-off show, titled 1923.

In a lively manner that belied his 82 years, the actor was just as radiant as always when he teamed up with his costar Michelle Randolph (who portrays Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Strafford) in Los Angeles.

Ford stars on the series — which was created by Taylor Sheridan — as the patriarch Jacob Dutton.

Around ninety years prior to the establishment of Yellowstone, Jacob and his wife Cara (played by Helen Mirren) faced challenges in protecting their vast Montana estate. They had to deal with crime escalating due to Prohibition and the early signs of the Great Depression encroaching upon them.

In a relaxed yet rugged manner, the actor famous for Indiana Jones and Star Wars donned a black flannel sports jacket, teaming it with black denim pants and understated black derby shoes.

He adhered to a somber color palette, donning a charcoal shirt devoid of a tie, and saluting the series through a dark brown western-style belt.

Michelle, who is engaged to Jack, Jacob Dutton’s son, often opted for a western-style attire. This included a dress with an off-shoulder design, decorated with graphics of horses and a panoramic view of mountains across her waist.

Her dress hugged her figure and featured a slim black skirt that reached down to the ground.

She had her long, golden hair styled with a middle parting and flowing gracefully over her shoulder in soft ripples.

Francesca Eastwood cut a chic figure in a tan trench coat that she wore belted around her midriff. 

At some stage, she loosened the belt to show a peek of the plunge-neckline black gown hiding beneath, and she accessorized it elegantly with shimmering stiletto heels.

Alongside Francesca was her partner, Alexander Wraith, who she reconnected with towards the end of last year following her arrest in a suspected domestic violence case.

He wore a tan shirt and black jeans with a brown belt and a short black cashmere coat. 

Brandon Sklenar, the actor portraying Spencer Dutton, Jacob’s younger son, sported a chic look in a sleek, black double-breasted suit with broad stripes. He left his jacket unfastened and added a casual touch by showing off his muscular frame in a simple black tank top.

Accompanying him was his girlfriend, Courtney Salviolo, who dazzled in an exquisite dark purple gown adorned with sequins that revealed a bra and skirt.

The two lovebirds couldn’t hold back their passion and leaned in for a kiss on the red carpet. 

Jennifer Carpenter, who plays Dexter, looked stunning in her white gown that stood out amidst the mostly dark ensembles worn during the evening.

She donned a bold dress featuring broad shoulder pads and an intricate waistline that twisted, linking the upper part to the skirt, revealing her well-defined abdomen.

She stood on the red carpet alongside her co-star Aminah Nieves. Aminah’s outfit, a breathtaking black dress, beautifully complemented her own bright and striking white ensemble.

Aminah’s attire boasted padded shoulder accents, while its neckline dipped dramatically, exposing her midriff and enhancing her cleavage. To finish off the ensemble, she donned sharp-tipped gold heels and a lengthy scarf, which she fashionably tied around her neck.

Joining the women was Jeremy Gauna, who appeared on the previous Yellowstone prequel series 1883. 

In the spirit of my devotion, I donned a sleek black suit paired with an effortlessly cool black dress shirt. My hair cascaded down in long braids, and around my neck hung a vibrant necklace adorned with native-inspired beads.

Timothy Dalton added another dose of star power to the premiere. 

In a stylish ensemble, the previous James Bond actor donned a gray sports jacket featuring subtle stripes, paired with black trousers, a coordinating shirt, and a tie adorned with vibrant purple patterns.

Julia Schlaepfer glowed in a blue off-the-shoulder gradient dress covered in sparkling sequins.

During the events, Darren Mann, portraying Jack (Jacob Dutton’s son), brought a vibrant touch with his teal velvet sports jacket.

The remainder of his appearance leaned towards the traditional, sporting black pants that slightly crept up on his contrasting dark brown cowboy boots, both of which were coordinated with his belt.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’d express it this way: I admired Tia Carrere gracefully adorning an elegant, double-breasted black coat featuring stylish peaked lapels, seamlessly transforming it into a chic dress.

She wore it with lace-decorated black heels and a large black studded clutch. 

Brian Geraghty donned a sleek, fitting black suit, eschewing the use of a tie.

Alicia Hannah-Kim exuded an air of casual elegance, wearing a delicate, off-the-shoulder beige dress featuring a lengthy, partially transparent skirt that flowed gracefully after her.

In 1923, the man, who was a star named Sebastian Roché married to her, donned a noteworthy black velvet suit with pinstripes and derby shoes, along with a sleek black tie.

Actress Kate Flannery, known for her role in The Office, looked delightful in a deep-blue gown adorned with lively floral patterns.

Martin Kove, a star from Cobra Kai, was noticeable in a stylish black sport coat that showcased an intricate pattern. He paired it with a simple black shirt and jeans, adding a touch of elegance with contrasting tan suede shoes. The footwear had distinctive blue laces which made them stand out.

1923’s second season is set to debut on Paramount+ this coming Sunday, February 23rd. Every subsequent episode will become available each week, every Sunday.
