Harris Dickinson reunites with The Beatles co-stars Paul Mescal and Barry Keoghan at the premiere of his directorial debut Urchin – after naming veteran actor who was a w**ker to him

Harrison Dickinson celebrated the London premiere of his new movie, Urchin, with his fellow actors from the upcoming Beatles biopic, Paul Mescal and Barry Keoghan.

The actor looked happy and relaxed as he spent time with Paul, 29, and Barry, 32, who came to show their support for his debut movie.

Oh my gosh, things are just *exploding* for him right now! Not only did he land the role of a Beatle – can you believe it?! – but he’s also directing his very *first* movie, called Urchin, and he actually *wrote* it too! It’s like, a total triple threat moment, and I’m so incredibly proud and excited for him!

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been hearing a lot about this new film, and it sounds incredibly moving. The director describes it as a story about those who are overlooked by society – the people who slip through the cracks. It really delves into how systems can unintentionally let individuals down, and the impact that has on their lives. It’s a powerful concept, and I think a lot of people will connect with it.

Harris recently made an appearance shortly after publicly identifying the well-known actor who had previously made fun of his upbringing in East London.

The actor seemed like a natural fit to play John Lennon in the new Beatles movie, as he, too, was raised in a working-class family.

Oh my gosh, you guys, it’s happening! They’re doing a four-part series about The Beatles, and the casting is *perfect*! Paul Mescal is going to *be* Paul McCartney, seriously, I’m already losing it! And Joseph Quinn as George Harrison? Yes, please! And Barry Keoghan is taking on Ringo? I can’t even handle how amazing this is going to be! I’m already counting down the days!

Although his background ultimately helped him succeed, there were claims that early in his career, a well-known actor made fun of Harris’s working-class upbringing.

In a 2023 interview with The Times, Harris described someone as a ‘wanker,’ but declined to reveal their identity, stating he was strongly tempted to do so.

Harris explained that they made a film together, and the actor was a seasoned professional – someone who’d worked extensively in television and theatre, and came from a comfortable background.

He proposed a guessing game where he’d pretend to be one of the people present, and everyone else would try to figure out who he was by asking him questions.

When someone playfully asked the actor what kind of food he’d be, he answered ‘fish and chips.’ He then said he’d be the TV show ‘Love Island’ if he were a show.

Let me tell you, it really hit me when I realized the comments were clearly about *me*. Someone was basically saying my tastes were… well, a little basic! They pointed out I enjoy classic fish and chips – which, let’s be honest, is comfort food for many of us – and then added that *Love Island* isn’t exactly highbrow television. It was a bit of a dig, but I own it! I enjoy what I enjoy, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Harris explained that being publicly embarrassed by a colleague, particularly when he was younger, was a deeply upsetting experience that had a lasting impact on him.

Although Harris had previously avoided revealing who played the upsetting game, he seemed to accidentally mention the actor’s name in a recent interview with The Times.

When Ralph Fiennes’ name came up, Harris immediately said the actor was a genuinely kind person.

When the journalist mentioned Robert Lindsay as a potential candidate, Harris exclaimed with frustration, realizing his deception had been discovered.

According to reports, Harris was speaking quietly and didn’t give a clear answer when asked to elaborate.

He starred alongside Harris in the 2019 Maleficent sequel, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Harris Dickinson and Robert Lindsay, seeking a response.

Okay, so the Beatles movie… it’s still a little ways off, unfortunately. Everything I’ve read says we *might* finally get the first part around 2028, but honestly, that feels like a lifetime away! I’m constantly checking for updates, and I’m just so desperate to know when it’s coming! It’s all I think about, really.
