Harper Beckham, 14, is left cringing over dad David’s singing at Oasis gig – while estranged Brooklyn’s absence glares during family night out

The Beckham family went out for a night together on Saturday, but their son Brooklyn, with whom they are currently not close, was noticeably missing.

Victoria, 51, and David, 50, went to the last show of Oasis’ UK tour with their children – Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14 – and shared a lot of photos and videos from the evening.

Two funny videos captured David hugging and singing to Harper. The teenager – who just started using Instagram – playfully rolled her eyes while stuck between her dad and Cruz, who were enthusiastically singing Oasis songs on the way home.

The joyful family spent time laughing, singing, hugging, and taking pictures together and with their friends. Additionally, David had the chance to meet Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs from the band Oasis and Richard Ashcroft, the lead singer of The Verve, behind the scenes at the concert.

The many photos and videos posted on each family member’s Instagram – including a sweet video of David hugging and singing to Harper – captured a joyful evening, but also drew attention to the fact that Brooklyn isn’t as connected to the family as he once was.

Harper seemed irritated with her brother Cruz and their dad while they drove home, as they were loudly singing Oasis’s 1994 hit, Supersonic, right into her ears.

The young woman, who describes herself as ‘Your favourite blonde’ on Instagram, was also spotted in a warm embrace with her father while he serenaded her from his seat in the audience.

Victoria was also pictured with the youngest member of their family, and the fashionable pair snuggled close for a cute photo, with a view of the stage visible behind them.

Like so many other fans, I really appreciated that Victoria acknowledged Oasis’ signature style. I loved that she paid tribute to their look, but smartly skipped the ubiquitous bucket hat trend – she went with a parka instead, which I thought was brilliant!

Before the concert, she playfully showed off David’s fit physique while he was deciding on his outfit. Unlike his wife, he ended up going with the bucket hat trend.

Romeo smiled for photos with his mother while seated in the stalls, and Cruz was pictured looking affectionate with his 30-year-old girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, in several photos taken by Victoria.

This journey follows reports that Victoria has stated ‘enough is enough’ in the midst of her ongoing and difficult disagreement with Brooklyn, following a period of considerable emotional distress.

A disagreement has developed between the couple and their oldest son, Brooklyn, 26, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, 30. It’s been reported that Brooklyn has become more distant from his family, especially after missing all events celebrating his father’s 50th birthday in May.

However, with her Netflix documentary about to be released, Victoria is reportedly setting boundaries. She’s apparently reached a point where she feels she can no longer continue struggling with the same issues.

A source says the fashion designer felt liberated while filming her new show. It helped her understand how much support she has and gave her confidence that she and Brooklyn would get back together eventually.

After news surfaced that her oldest son would be part of the show, Victoria seemed to make a gesture of reconciliation towards him by briefly including a childhood photo of him in the series’ initial trailer – a moment that was very quick to see.

It was a really emotional time for her, largely due to the ongoing issues with her difficult relationship with Brooklyn. It felt like a constant up-and-down experience because of that.

However, it also helped her understand that she needs to stop dwelling on the pain caused by this situation with him – she’s reached her limit, and it’s time to move forward,” a source said.

The source continued, telling The Mirror: ‘She believes he’ll return to her eventually, but she feels the timing isn’t right. She’s currently focusing on how grateful she is for her family’s love and support, and this recent project has really highlighted that for her.’

‘It was a really emotional experience, but also freeing,’ our source shared. ‘It helped her understand just how loved she is, and how much her family has been there for her, supporting her through everything – the good times and the bad.’

She definitely still wants to resolve things with Brooklyn, but she also realizes she can’t continue repeating the same arguments.
