Harlan Coben’s Fool Me Once tops Netflix’s most-watched shows of 2024 so far
As a seasoned gamer and binge-watcher, I must say that 2024 has been quite the year for Netflix dramas! Harlan Coben’s “Fool Me Once” has truly taken the cake, with its gripping storyline and Michelle Keegan’s captivating performance. It’s no wonder it’s still holding strong at number one in the list of most-watched series – I find myself rewatching it again and again!
2024’s standout Netflix series thus far exhibit a robust performance by British dramas.
Leading the pack and not unexpectedly, Harlan Coben’s “Fool Me Once” takes the lead. Starring Michelle Keegan, this addictive TV series debuted on New Year’s Day and made a strong entry into Netflix’s elite chart of most-watched series. It currently holds the eighth spot on that list, boasting 98,200,000 views in its initial 91 days on the streaming platform.
According to fresh data from Netflix, the drama series has garnered a staggering 108 million viewers, making it the most-watched show during the initial months of the year.
Coming next is the third season of “Bridgerton,” focusing on the romantic journey of Penelope and Colin, as well as celebrating the marital happiness of popular couple Kate and Anthony with a delightful dose of wedded bliss.
Furthermore, the popularity of the Shonda Rhimes series, which is based in the UK, has also sparked renewed interest in the 2023 spin-off titled “Queen Charlotte.” Notably, the number of viewers for this show has nearly doubled.
In third and fourth place on the list were the Emmy-winning film “Baby Reindeer” and Guy Ritchie’s movie “The Gentlemen”. Additionally, the will-they-won’t-they romance “One Day” found a spot in the top 10.
