Harlan Coben teases the release date for his next Netflix show
As a die-hard fan of Harlan Coben‘s captivating narratives, I can hardly contain my excitement for his upcoming Netflix series, “Missing You.” With each new project, Coben manages to weave an intricate web of suspense that leaves me utterly spellbound. His unique ability to keep me guessing until the very end is nothing short of extraordinary!
Viewers are excitedly anticipating the arrival of Harlan Coben’s upcoming Netflix series titled “Missing You” on their screens. However, the series producer remains silent on the precise release date, though hinting that it may be arriving sooner rather than later.
In a conversation with Digital Spy during the National Television Awards, Coben mentioned that he couldn’t reveal the exact release date yet, but hinted that it was coming up rather quickly.
As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but get excited about the next series that’s coming up. It’s based on another one of Harlan Coben’s best-selling novels, and just like before, it’s packed with an all-star cast. Among them is Richard Armitage, who’s now been a part of four adaptations of Harlan’s works. Harlan himself calls Richard his “lucky charm”. Can’t wait to see how it unfolds!
In the spotlight for its intricate storylines, the novel “Missing You” revolves around detective Kat Donovan, whose fiance Josh vanished without a trace eleven years ago. However, while browsing profiles on a dating platform, she encounters his face unexpectedly – a moment that sends shockwaves through her life once more.
Coben mentioned that the team is fantastic, and he’s excited about it. Since there are just five episodes, you’ll have a chance to finish watching it all in one sitting.
In addition to the project, you’ll find names like Rosalind Eleazar from “Slow Horses”, Ashley Walters known for “Top Boy”, James Nesbitt who has worked on “The Missing” and “Stay Close”, and Lenny Henry, currently featured in “Rings of Power”.
Speaking about his upcoming series Missing You, Harlan Coben commented: “I believe this may be my most suspenseful work, and the finale will leave you utterly astonished. In fact, upon rewatching it, I was taken aback by the ending – and I penned it myself.
Well, I truly believe it’ll tug at your heartstrings, as I did when the final episode of Missing You played out. Could you share with me if it brought tears to your eyes too?
The Fool Me Once supervisor subsequently explained that it’s not intended to be heartrendingly emotional, but rather, it will touch your feelings deeply.
Missing You is coming soon to Netflix.
