Annette Badland is the latest addition to the cast of a new British drama called One Hundred and Fifty-Two Days. The show is based on the popular 2020 novel of the same name by Giles Paley-Phillips and tells the story of a teenager who is getting better after having pneumonia.
Because he was sick himself, he couldn’t go see his mother who was very ill. Feeling isolated, he started building a connection with the person helping him with his physical therapy. Through dealing with his sadness, he began to see new hope and opportunities.
Rosie Day, the actress known for playing Mary Hawkins in the Starz series Outlander, will direct a new film. This marks her first time directing a feature-length movie. The screenplay is being written by Paley-Phillips, who is adapting their own story, with help from Elizabeth Morris.

I was really moved by Rosie Day’s first film – it’s a gorgeous, personal story that spans generations. What I especially loved was how much the Lincolnshire setting felt like a character itself.
