Following my legal declaration of singularity in December, I’m eagerly embarking on a fresh chapter in my life as a dedicated individual.

At the time a judge signed off on the termination of the marriage, TMZ reported.

The reality star had been in the midst of a divorce from her husband Jeff.

Previously, it was reported by a publication that obtained court records indicated Chelsea and Jeff, who were once in sync regarding their wish for a legal dissolution as depicted in their Netflix reality series, had already agreed to be declared single by law.

Despite being legally separated, allowing them to marry again should they choose, it seems that they’re still in discussions to finalize their divorce agreement to officially conclude their marital affairs.

It has been said that they submitted papers asking the judge handling their divorce case to declare them individually unmarried. The judge’s ruling followed a court hearing.

Before their divorce is officially completed, they both must decide on how to distribute their shared possessions, which could prove challenging.

Earlier reports from TMZ indicated that Jeff had initially requested the court to separate the divorce proceedings and declare the ex-couple as single in October. Since then, it seems that Chelsea has followed suit and aligned with this idea.

Initially, Chelsea was the one who initiated the divorce proceedings, but reaching an accord on the settlement proved challenging, thereby delaying the divorce process.

I, as a dedicated follower of the situation, understand from Jeff’s earlier statement to the judge that we, him and his ex-spouse, are committed to resolving all matters concerning our children’s custody, support, and the division of our assets, once we have both been legally declared single.

Chelsea had previously requested joint physical and legal custody when she filed for divorce.

The real estate specialist and her former spouse, who holds the position of managing partner at the advertising firm Icon Media Group (established by his mother), have two kids together: their five-year-old son Maddox Ali Lavon, and their four-year-old daughter Melia Iman.

Previously, the star of Selling Sunset submitted a petition for divorce from her separated spouse in March of the previous year, stating irreconcilable differences as the reason.

A week following her initial filing, Jeff subsequently made public his own filing, echoing similar grounds (irreconcilable differences) but adding allegations that Chelsea had displayed physical aggression, according to his submitted documents.

He claimed that she struck him in the face just prior to his complaint, an action that reportedly shattered his spectacles and left a minor scratch on him.

Additionally, he claimed that she had installed a lock on the master suite in their $2.9 million, 5-bedroom Manhattan Beach residence (which he alleges is predominantly his property), and that she was secretly tracking his comings and goings to this residence from afar.

In his submission, Jeff asserted that his well-known spouse was displaying questionable actions, and he also stated that certain items belonging to him were missing from their shared residence.

Because of their disagreement about who should live permanently in their shared home during their divorce, Jeff asked the presiding judge to bar both parties from residing there full-time.

Instead, he asks that Chelsea is permitted to stay inside the house for no more than two-hour intervals, under adult supervision during those times.

They got married in 2017 at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California, and have been husband and wife ever since.

2022 saw Chelsea disclose to DailyMail.com that her future spouse was the gentleman she met on Tinder following her relocation to Los Angeles, marking their first date together.

As a lifestyle advisor with roots deeply entwined in the vibrant streets of North London, born to resilient Nigerian immigrants, I initially envisioned my time in sunny California as merely a pit stop en route to earning my MBA. However, the allure of this Golden State had me second-guessing my intentions when it came to dipping my toes into the dating pool.

But after giving the dating app a try around 2015, she and Jeff instantly clicked.

She clarified that they had chatted approximately fifteen times prior to their meeting. She expressed her desire not to squander her time or vitality on someone if she doesn’t believe the outcome will be beneficial. She also mentioned that there was an instant connection with him, as though they had known each other previously.

In the newest season of Selling Sunset, we delve into the reasons behind Chelsea’s separation from Jeff, as her coworkers suggest he was involved in an extramarital relationship.

As a lifestyle aficionado, I must admit that I’ve been noticing a shift in the dynamics of Selling Sunset this season, and it seems many fans are sharing my sentiments. The eighth season appears to be leaning more towards the personal feuds within the Oppenheim Group, rather than their usual focus on real estate transactions. While the interpersonal drama can certainly be captivating, I find myself yearning for a return to the balance between the professional and the personal that made the show so engaging in the first place.

It’s possible that Chelsea and her colleagues could face difficulties too, since Netflix appears to be leaning towards creating more audience-friendly reality competition shows similar to The Voice, instead of the drama-filled cable-style reality series like Selling Sunset.
