Happy feet! This ’70s sitcom star, who played a goofball sidekick, was spotted going for a pedicure with his wife… who is it?

In a popular 1970s American sitcom, he portrayed the affectionate yet slightly innocent sidekick of the lead character.

In every season, this 75-year-old actor was like a main ingredient, portraying the iconic character who embodied the lovable, yet intellectually challenged stereotype – always seeming to lack common sense, yet unwaveringly dedicated to his comrades.

In the tranquil, laid-back setting of Oji, California, I found myself observing a couple, enjoying a leisurely afternoon together. They strolled over to a local spa for some pampering pedicures, and later on, they stepped out to indulge in delightful treats.

Following delightful on-screen experiences, he shifted focus to work off-camera, flourishing into a highly productive television director and producer. He even directed episodes for popular series like Beverly Hills, 90210, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and Charmed.

As a devoted enthusiast, I stepped away from the realm of showbiz entirely and joined forces with my fellow sitcom colleague to establish a chain of charming diners within the food industry instead.

In 2022, he declared his intention to seek the position of mayor in Ojai, joining a line of entertainment figures and actors who believed they possessed the necessary skills to wield political power.

Can you guess who?

It’s Anson Williams – Potsie from Happy Days!

Williams was spotted on an outing with his third wife Sharon MaHarry, a real estate agent in Ojai.

In a stylish ensemble consisting of a brown shirt with intricate lace trimming, cargo shorts, and casual sandals, Williams joined his wife for a visit to the nail salon, treating themselves to a well-deserved foot spa session.

In about an hour, Anton made his way to the car and spent another half-hour there, as he was meeting up with his wife. She greeted him cheerfully, flashing a smile that showcased her newly painted red fingernails.

Sharon sported a neat ensemble: a crisp white long-sleeved shirt tucked into black trousers, with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows; she wore black slip-ons, donned black-framed glasses, and carried a chic black shoulder bag.

Later, he switched to a relaxed, quarter-buttoned gray linen shirt, cargo shorts, and decided to wear his trusty brown sandals for a quick trip to the grocery store. There, he bought various items such as a bag of Tostitos chips.

Williams, who grew up in Los Angeles, is best remembered for his depiction of Potsie in Happy Days.

One of only a handful of actors who persisted throughout the entire 11-season span from 1974 to 1984, he continued his involvement in the show, albeit assuming a smaller part as it approached its conclusion.

In the series, Potsie was a close companion to the character Richie Cunningham, portrayed by Ron Howard. Although Richie initially served as the main character, he was eventually overshadowed by Henry Winkler’s portrayal of the Fonzie character.

In his youth, Williams initially appeared in advertisements, but it was his debut in the ABC show “Love, American Style” in 1972 that ultimately led to the success story of “Happy Days,” a spin-off series.

His personality was that of a jokester often referred to as ‘the square’ by his peers, yet he concealed his talents as a skilled singer and musician. Eventually, he became the lead performer in a band that played regularly at their favorite hangout, Arnold’s Drive-In.

Following the conclusion of the series, Williams went on to make some guest appearances in different programs, later transitioning behind the camera to assume the role of a director.

Over the span of his successful career, Williams has been involved in numerous well-known television series, including Beverly Hills, 90210, Melrose Place, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Lizzie McGuire, 7th Heaven, and Charmed.

Apart from acting, he delved into the restaurant industry and teamed up with his “Happy Days” colleague Al Molinaro to establish a chain of eateries known as Big Al’s. Furthermore, he took on entrepreneurship by launching his own cosmetics brand named Starmaker Products.

Then in 2022, he decided to hit the big leagues and announced that he would be running for mayor.

In a close competition, Anson, a Unitarian Democratic candidate, narrowly missed defeating the current mayor, Betsey Stix. The gap was only 42 votes, with Anson garnering 1,781 votes and Stix receiving 1,823.

This way, it conveys the same information but in a more conversational and engaging manner.

In the year 1978, he tied the knot with actress Lorrie Mahaffey, a familiar face from “Happy Days.” However, after nine years, their marriage ended. They share a single child born during their union.

In 1988, the actor got married to Jackie Gerken, and they became parents to four girls – Hannah, Olivia, Gabrielle, and Stella.

In 2019, it emerged that they had initiated a divorce proceeding. However, just three weeks later, Williams decided to withdraw the petition, hoping to find a resolution instead.

Approximately a year from then, he would file for divorce for the second time, ultimately carrying out the process this time around.

In May 2023, he wed his third spouse, the real estate agent Sharon MaHarry, at a secluded residence in Los Angeles.
