Hannah Spearritt’s New Jungle Life: From S Club 7 to Survivalist Mom in Costa Rica!
Hannah Spearritt, formerly of S Club 7, has offered a peek into her current lifestyle in Costa Rica, where she now lives as a self-sufficient and resourceful individual, focusing on preparedness and survival skills.
Previously known as a member of S Club, a 44-year-old woman, along with her daughters aged 5 (Taya) and 4 (Tora), departed the UK in January. Now, they are happily settling into their exciting, new overseas residence.
It became known last year that Hannah and her partner, Adam Thomas, had chosen to move to Central America with the intention of living sustainably by relying on the resources available in the region.
In the aftermath of her former bandmate, Paul Cattermole’s unfortunate passing in 2023, it was reported that the popular singer was aiming for a new beginning following her departure from the group that brought her fame.
Now, their long-cherished wishes have finally materialized, allowing them to embark on morning strolls near waterfalls and incorporate an outdoor play area into their routine daily activities.
Her Instagram profile now states: ‘I am currently a prepper, survivalist, and content creator, embracing the wild, free lifestyle of the untamed jungle.’

She proudly displayed her latest abode on various social platforms, boasting an exquisite balcony offering breathtaking vistas of forests and mountain ranges.
Here’s a snapshot capturing the breathtaking view of the place she described as ‘new beginnings’ – our fresh new home!

Up next, we’ll delve into learning permaculture… And don’t forget to chuckle as we capture our antics while planting the fruit forest!
Additionally, she posted pictures of her children trekking through the mountains and enjoying swims at nearby waterfalls as well.
Hannah wrote: ‘Morning walks down to the waterfall… trying to keep up with the little legs!
I’ve created a short video showcasing a beautiful spot that provided solace during a tough year. If you’re interested, I’ll share the link so you can experience its charm as well.
In January, she disclosed that they had relocated, as she posted a picture from their dinner at their newly purchased home, featuring their daughters.
With obvious affection for her new dwelling, she titled the photo: “Indeed, we have arrived at our piece of heaven on earth. Gorgeous scenery, wonderful inhabitants

In 2018, it was thought that Hannah and Adam had an enjoyable vacation at a breathtaking spot, which later motivated them to open a café in Twickenham in 2022.
To be completely honest, I’ve been eagerly waiting for the day this café would bloom in full, but alas, it seems my dreams have been dashed. A confidant of mine let slip to The Sun last year that they were considering packing up shop due to escalating expenses.
According to the source, this recent event marks another disappointment in a series. Their new strategy involves relocating to Costa Rica and living sustainably from the land.
Previously, the couple had envisioned establishing a community in Central America. Hannah shared with the media, “Our aspiration is to relocate to Costa Rica, purchase some land or a farm, and lead a tranquil lifestyle there with our daughters.
In 2013, the musician developed an autoimmune disease and was initially scheduled to perform with her previous band during their reunion tour. However, she withdrew from the tour due to a dispute over contractual matters.
In unison, the remaining members – Rachel Stevens, Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, and Tina Barrett – collectively declared their intention to carry on as a quintet.

It’s reported that she was caught off guard by the announcement, as she had fallen out of favor with the band where she achieved success in the early 2000s.
As a devoted follower, I found myself in a unique position after becoming a mother of two. In an audacious stride, I enlisted legal professionals’ assistance and decided to publish my autobiography on the very day we were set to appear in public.
Initially, all seven members of the top-charting band agreed to come together for a momentous 25th anniversary tour.
At first, Hannah declined to participate, expressing concerns about unavailable childcare. However, she eventually consented after music manager Simon Fuller promised to cover the costs for nannies to be present with her.
Approximately two months following Paul Cattermole’s demise, he received a substantial amount to share his personal account, an act that didn’t sit well with the other surviving band members.
Hannah expressed regret to the S Club fans over her decision to depart, however, she emphasized that it was necessary for her personal well-being and that of her family.
Hannah asserted that she hasn’t communicated with her ex-bandmates following her departure, acknowledging that she misses them, yet emphasizing that she sends them warm wishes for success.
Paul was found dead in his ground floor flat in Wareham, Dorset in April 2023.
In more casual terms: After leaving the group back in 2002 and taking up tarot card reading for a living, this individual was reportedly in high spirits when spotted at a local park not long ago.
The Dorset Coroner’s Office representative announced: ‘We are verifying that Mr. Cattermole passed away due to natural reasons, and our inquiries have been completed. Since the cause of his demise was natural, there won’t be an inquest held.’
After his passing, the group chose to be known as S Club, and they issued a collective statement to announce his tragic demise along with his family members.
It is with deep regret that we share the sudden, unfortunate death of our cherished family member, our son and brother Paul Cattermole.
On the 6th of April, 2023, Paul was discovered at his residence in Dorset. Regrettably, he passed away later that same day, as confirmed by medical personnel.
At this moment, it’s unclear what led to the individual’s demise. However, Dorset Police has assured us that there was nothing unusual or alarming about the situation.
‘Paul’s family, friends and fellow members of S Club request privacy at this time.’

I, a devoted fan, can’t help but express my heartfelt feelings as the band honors their late brother Paul, affectionately known as Cattermole, on social media. Sharing a poignant black-and-white snapshot of him from the band’s golden days, they penned a heartbreaking tribute: “We are absolutely crushed by Paul’s untimely passing. Words can hardly express the profound sadness and emptiness we feel. We were incredibly fortunate to have had him in our lives, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
‘He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us.’
Following her departure from S Club 7 in 2002, Cattermole adapted by earning an income through tarot card reading, due to some difficult financial circumstances.
He transformed into a ‘mystical intuitive sleuth’, generating income by billing £39.99 per session for his spiritual readings on an online platform.
