Hannah Dal Sasso Dates Son of ‘Real Housewives’ Star Just Weeks After Ex Photo Scandal
Hannah Dal Sasso has clearly left her past as a tennis champion with Thanasi Kokkinakis behind, as she introduces her new romantic interest in Melbourne.
As a committed admirer, I parted ways with my long-distance partner, a 28-year-old athlete, in September, having shared our lives from afar for eighteen months.
On Tuesday, she was spotted attending the Ralph Lauren Fragrances Grand Prix event alongside her new companion, Rupert McLean, according to a report by Herald Sun.
Rupert, who forged a quick bond with the influencer, is a finance professional and happens to be the son of the past Real Housewives of Melbourne celebrity, Susie McLean.
The couple met one month ago through mutual friends.
Hannah mentioned that their relationship is still in its initial stages, but she feels he comprehends her work well, which is reassuring. It’s pleasant for her to attend events together.

‘We met through our friends Izzy Armitage and her sister Riley and we’re very happy, he’s amazing.’
Hannah intends to make her performance alongside Rupert occur at Glamour on the Grid on a Wednesday, the very venue where she initially appeared with Thanasi back in 2023.
Rupert is among the two boys, with Monty as his sibling, born to Susie (age 56) and her former husband, Rod Butterss, who used to be the president of St Kilda.
After being seen walking around Melbourne with a famous model in February, Hannah’s recent romance has emerged, following her split from Thanasi.
As an over-the-moon admirer, I can’t help but share my excitement over the intriguing speculation swirling around Thanasi and Paige Henry! The charismatic Thanasi even fueled these rumors himself by posting a captivating snap of them both on his Instagram after their Australian Open men’s doubles victory.
They were spotted strolling once more around the city, with Thanasi showing a broad grin on his countenance.
Thanasi and Hanna decided to end their relationship in September, as indicated by them no longer following each other on Instagram.
For approximately a year and a half, they were a duo who managed their bond despite the athlete’s frequent travels due to his tennis commitments, maintaining a long-distance connection.

Hannah was spotted in July, alongside Thanasi, at Wimbledon. For a portion of the U.S. tournament season, she accompanied him.
It appears that the duo have decided to end their relationship, having first appeared together at Glamour on the Grid back in March 2023.
Hannah, the proprietor of Styled by Mim, a designer clothing rental firm, mentioned that she and Thanasi had become acquainted a few months back and had been journeying with each other for some time.
In May 2024, she made it clear that she didn’t favor the term “WAG,” which stands for wives and girlfriends of professional athletes.
Instead of being recognized primarily as somebody’s partner, the Melbourne “It” girl prefers to establish her identity based on her unique qualities and achievements.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’ve noticed an intriguing discrepancy between the sports of football and tennis when it comes to the public labeling of significant others. In football, these women are often referred to as WAGs, but in tennis, there aren’t many who receive such a title, and they rarely come under this spotlight.
‘I like having my own name and not being someone else’s partner.’
Apart from Hannah’s conversation with The Herald Sun, she also talked about the hurdles they face in keeping their relationship going due to Thanasi’s frequent global travels for his tennis profession.

Hannah shared with the press, “The past month has been wonderful with him, and I find myself missing him already. Maintaining a long-distance relationship is truly challenging.
Steve is utterly committed to his tennis, pouring all his efforts into the game, and I couldn’t be more proud.
In May 2023, following his initial victory at the French Open, Thanasi honored Hannah for her role as his significant other, acknowledging that she might have been his very first girlfriend.
He mentioned that he tends to develop at a slower pace, which is sometimes referred to as being a late bloomer. Consequently, he’s giving it a try, but there are difficulties associated with that too. However, she has been very supportive throughout this process.
2023 saw speculations about a possible breakup between the pair when Thanasi’s presence on the celebrity dating app Raya emerged, yet they seemed to reconcile prior to the Wimbledon tournament in 2024.
A few days ago, Thanasi was noticeably absent from his model partner at the debut of the Piper-Heidsieck Summer of Tennis collection in Melbourne, held just a short while ago.
As of that point, it had been sometime since their last joint photograph, which was taken in June 2023 during a double date with friends Nick Kyrgios and his partner Costeen Hatzi.
