HandyGames, the company behind popular mobile games like Wreckfest Mobile, has announced that Maneater, the popular single-player, open-world action RPG, will be available on Android and iOS devices starting December 15th. Developed by Tripwire Interactive, the mobile version offers the same gameplay as the original, and you can sign up to pre-register now.

The game’s concept is really unique, and I can’t wait to check out all seven of its huge, varied areas – from the swamps of the Gulf Coast to beautiful beaches and the open sea. The graphics look fantastic, and the complete day-night cycle adds a lot to the experience. Plus, the challenge of facing both wild animals and human hunters sounds incredibly exciting.
The most exciting part is you’ll soon be able to grow your shark by… well, by dramatically dismantling swimmers and divers! You can also collect special items to help your shark evolve. This update is definitely worth checking out, especially because it includes a complete story mode, brilliantly narrated by Chris Parnell, famous for his work on Rick and Morty and Saturday Night Live.
Maneater will be available on Android and iOS devices starting December 15, 2025. You can sign up to be notified when the game launches by pre-registering through the Google Play Store or App Store now.
