HandyGames, the team behind Wreckfest Mobile, announced that Maneater, the popular open-world action RPG, is coming to mobile devices on December 15th. Developed by Tripwire Interactive, the mobile version will offer the same gameplay as the original, and you can sign up to pre-register now.

The game’s concept is really unique, and I can’t wait to explore its seven huge and varied areas – from the swamps of the Gulf Coast to beautiful beaches and the open sea. The graphics look fantastic, and the realistic day and night cycle adds a lot to the experience. Plus, the challenge of facing both wild animals and human hunters sounds like a blast!

The most exciting part is you’ll soon be able to grow your shark by… well, let’s just say it involves dramatically eliminating swimmers and divers! You can also collect special items to help your shark evolve. This update is definitely worth checking out, especially because it includes a complete story mode narrated by Chris Parnell, who you might know from Rick and Morty and Saturday Night Live.
