The industry is undergoing changes as it prepares for its fourth season, with Max Minghella being added to the cast and Harry Lawtey departing from his position.
Lawtey has been part of the BBC drama since its first season, portraying the character of Robert Spearing, a commoner banker. In the final episode of season three, Robert decided to leave Pierpoint to focus on establishing a business that deals with psilocybin.
Despite the unresolved nature of his storyline, Deadline claims that Lawtey won’t reappear in season four because of scheduling complications.

In other news, based on Variety reports, fans can anticipate a new cast member in the show, as actor Minghella from “The Handmaid’s Tale” will be joining. This new character, Whitney Halberstram, is portrayed as the CFO and founder of Tender, a payment processing company experiencing rapid growth.
Industry was renewed for season 4 last September, with filming scheduled to begin next month.
In the upcoming season, it’s anticipated that Myha’la (Harper Stern), Marisa Abela (Yasmin Kara-Hanani), Ken Leung (Eric Tao), Sagar Radia (Rishi Ramdani), Kit Harington (Sir Henry Muck) and Miriam Petche (Sweetpea Golightly) will all return to their respective roles.

In a joint declaration during the series renewal, the visionaries Mickey Down and Konrad Kay expressed: “We are incredibly ecstatic and appreciative towards HBO, Bad Wolf’s outstanding team, and our extraordinary cast and crew for their ongoing faith in Industry, for enabling us to evolve as creators, writers, and now directors, all while elevating the show to unprecedented levels.
“We can’t wait to dive deeper and deliver the best season yet in season 4,” they added.
I can hardly contain my excitement! Somewhere out there, Minghella is set to grace our screens once more in the sixth season of The Handmaid’s Tale. This gripping dystopian tale will embark on its concluding journey on April 6th, with a tantalizing trailer hinting at a major rebellion ahead.
You can currently stream all three seasons of Industry on BBC iPlayer. As for The Handmaid’s Tale, it streams on Hulu in the United States, and both Channel 4 and Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
