From 2019 until 2023, Halsey was in a relationship with Alev Aydin, who is Ender’s father. Now, they share parenting responsibilities for their son. However, Halsey recently filed for primary physical custody so that she can take the toddler along on her tours.
To be completely honest, although I was taken aback by Alev and me parting ways, deep down, I had always envisioned myself living my life without the trappings of a traditional family setup.
She reminisced: ‘When I imagined myself as a mother, it was always me and my child. This wasn’t out of distrust towards others, but simply how the scenario played out in my mind. It was intriguing when we attempted to establish a functioning family unit for a period.’
Halsey added: ‘As soon as I got used to it and I liked it, I had the rug pulled out from underneath me. I became a single mum. I guess I always knew subconsciously.’
Despite the fact that her fiancé, Avan, is extremely close friends with her son and they seem to be inseparable, Halsey revealed to E! News last month.
In the recent chat, she casually suggested some areas where she could improve in romantic relationships, confessing that setting boundaries was a challenge for her in the past.
