Halle Berry made a stylish appearance at the London premiere of her latest film, Crime 101, on Wednesday.
The actress, 59, was joined on the red carpet by her co star Chris Hemsworth.
Halle looked stunning in a black, long-sleeved bodysuit with a low neckline, which she paired with a shimmering, silver maxi skirt. The outfit highlighted her amazing physique.
She teamed the look with black lace heels and accessorised with a statement flower necklace.
Meanwhile, Chris, 42, cut a dapper figure in an off-white suit styled with brown loafers.
Barry Keoghan, 33, opted for a stylish leather racing co-ord for the star-studded event.
Along with Monica Barbaro and Mark Ruffalo, the three stars smiled for the photographers.
Lottie Moss, Owen Warner, Jade Packer, Montell Douglas, and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu were also present at the event.
Bart Layton, who previously directed the successful crime thriller American Animals in 2018, is back with a new film in the same genre.
I’ve been hooked on ‘Crime 101’ since the start! It’s based on a novel by Winslow, and it follows these really clever jewellery robberies happening all along the Pacific Coast. At first, everyone thought they were being pulled off by Colombian cartels, but things aren’t always what they seem…
But one sharp-eyed detective isn’t convinced – and soon zeroes in on a very different suspect.
Layton not only takes the director’s chair but also co-wrote the screenplay with Peter Straughan.
I’m really excited to see this project come together, and I’ve been following who’s involved! From what I understand, Shane Salerno from Story Factory is producing alongside the team at Working Title – Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan. Plus, Dimitri Doganis, Derrin Schlesinger, and Layton from RAW are all on board as producers too, which is a fantastic group!
Joely Fether serves as executive producer.
Pedro Pascal was originally considered for the role, but couldn’t participate due to his busy schedule. Chris Hemsworth will not only star in the project but will also be a producer, along with his partner, Ben Grayson.
The movie will hit theaters on February 13.
Fans will know Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo from their roles in superhero movies, but their new project, Crime 101, is a totally different kind of role for the two actors, who have worked together for years.
This movie is a departure for the two stars, who are known for playing superheroes and action roles. It’s the first time they’ve traded in those familiar costumes and powers for a more realistic and intense crime drama.
This project also allowed the cast to come together again outside of their Marvel roles and try something different, a smaller-scale project away from big-budget action movies.
After Thor: Ragnarok came out in 2017, the two were excited to collaborate on another project when the opportunity arose.
Mark Ruffalo told Empire that he and a certain actor had great chemistry and a strong connection. He kept asking when they would finally work on a project together, feeling they really needed to collaborate on something.
‘And then this (Crime 101) was it.’
