Halle Berry reveals she fell ‘madly’ in love with boyfriend Van Hunt before they had sex: ‘It was magical’

The actress famously known for portraying Catwoman, at 58 years old, discussed in an interview with Marie Claire her past lack of intention in relationships and feeling carefree before entering into a relationship with a musician. She also mentioned that she had not deliberately planned her romantic encounters.
She admitted frankly about her feelings, saying, “I’ve never been this deeply in love before we made love,” emphasizing that such an experience was unprecedented for her.
And to her, it was unlike anything she had experienced before.
In a subsequent remark, the actress who starred in Never Let Go said: “Share with me an unforgettable, enchanting moment from your life. It was truly magical, simply amazing.
Halle openly admitted to a media outlet that she deliberately built her own career, but she had never applied such careful planning to her personal relationships. Instead, she admits to being rather casual or carefree in those matters.
She stated: ‘It’s essential to be specific with the cosmos; otherwise, anything might cross your path. As soon as I began to grasp myself and identify what I had been doing incorrectly, Van’s sibling – an acquaintance of mine for many years – approached me and suggested, “You ought to meet my brother.”‘
Over time, as her relationship with the GRAMMY winner, aged 54, flourished, she confessed that it took her some time to find the perfect fit, but the unique circumstances surrounding their connection made her strongly believe that this was destined to be. This is the one I am meant to be with.
In 2020, she had her first meeting with a musician, deepening their connection through video chats. They made their romantic involvement known to the public in September of that year.
Later on, Halle shared insights into how her outlook on life has transformed with age, and she’s choosing to let go of being a people-pleaser.
She expressed that she often finds herself being one of the eldest individuals in most places she goes, which gives her a sense of satisfaction…She no longer feels obligated to act as an entertainer or dance on command. She is relieved from the burden of trying to please everyone in the room, addressing their egos, soothing their insecurities, or providing them with what they desire if it doesn’t align with her own intentions.
The mother-of-two admitted that her daughter tells people, ‘don’t ask mom, because she’s got no f*cks to give. Don’t ask her unless you want the answer for real.’
Moreover, she was open about her upcoming birthday in August, stating that some people employ age as a means to undermine women.
She expressed, ‘The number assigned to us at birth as our age is merely symbolic, but unfortunately, it carries more significance for women than for men. At times, it can even hold us back.’
She feels like she’s reached a point where she is healthier and more robust than she was in her twenties, almost as if she has achieved her peak.
Later in the interview, Halle opened up about her advocacy for women’s rights and menopause care.
