Catwoman has appeared in many TV shows and movies over the years, long before Halle Berry played her. Berry was the first actress to star in a major movie dedicated solely to the character. Since then, other actresses have taken on the role, including Anne Hathaway in the Batman films, Zoë Kravitz in The Batman, and Camren Bicondova in the series Gotham.
Halle Berry playfully reminded everyone of her role as Catwoman with a recent Instagram post about fostering a stray kitten. She shared a photo and wrote, “I told you I was the real Catwoman!” and asked her followers to help her name the three-week-old kitten, who she described as a “lil angel” and “lots of fun.” Fans quickly responded with name suggestions.
Halle Berry played Catwoman, but the movie was a critical failure. It received seven Golden Raspberry Award nominations and ultimately won awards for Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Actress (Berry herself), and Worst Screenplay.
