Halle Berry, 58, Bares All in Bed with Boyfriend After Met Gala 2025 Risqué Dress Stuns

At the Met Gala last week, Halle Berry caused quite a stir by wearing a dress that exposed her midriff, sparking conversations and turning heads once again.

On the special occasion of Mother’s Day, I couldn’t help but express my unbridled admiration by sharing an intimate video on Instagram. In this video, the radiant 58-year-old Oscar winner and her equally captivating 55-year-old musician partner, Van Hunt, were seen lying naked in our bed. In a tender moment, I held a bottle of lubricant, symbolizing our shared journey and the deep bond we share.

In a somewhat suggestive manner, Halle hinted at the upcoming intimacy of the couple, sharing: “Let me tell you all about how my day unfolded. About how my Mother’s Day began.

Now, let me share with you what I expect the end of Mother’s Day to be like for me. Isn’t that correct, darling?

The A-lister giggled as Van said: ‘Yeah, I wish you’d hurry up too.’

Halle then held up a small bottle of personal lubricant Let’s Spin and laughed more.

Initially, she remarked: ‘Firstly, we took Let’s Spin with us because it had just been released in an adorable travel size. As we happened to be in Cannes, France, this was our first time traveling with it. We are now ready to use it for the first time.’

Halle Berry is the mother of a 17-year-old daughter, Nahla Ariela Aubry, whom she shares with her former partner Gabriel Aubry, and an 11-year-old son named Maceo-Robert Martinez from her previous marriage to Olivier Martinez.

On Monday at Met Gala 2025, the stunning attendee shocked fans with her daring choice to wear no underwear on the red carpet, showcasing what is likely her most provocative outfit to date.

She wore a stylish, striped black and sheer LaQuan Smith dress that had a deep-dive design, yet the absence of undergarments made it potentially problematic whenever she moved, as there was a possibility of a wardrobe mishap.

A portion of her belly and lower abdomen, along with her lower body, were visible in the bold outfit; she paired it with a short, black blazer featuring shoulder padding.

In a bold move, not just the actress portraying Catwoman, but also stars like Lisa from The White Lotus, Kim Kardashian, Sabrina Carpenter, and Jenna Ortega dared to go without bottoms in their outfits, showcasing various aspects of their styles.

Halle gave guests and viewers at home a further eyeful as she put her ample cleavage on display.

The dress featured a long trail, while she accessorized with a tiny cocktail hat and eye-catching jewelry pieces that made a bold statement.

Critics on social media labelled the celebrity as ‘shameful’ due to her exposing her lower torso, while some praised her appearance but emphasized the need for immediate modesty.

A person said, ‘Halle… dear to me. I thought you could do better. Yes, time has made its mark on you, much like a premium vintage wine. However, this action isn’t quite fitting of you.’

Someone else added, ‘Halle Berry is still hot but doesn’t need to dress like that.’

A dissatisfied spectator scrutinized a picture focusing on her waistline, and alleged that she had made a mistake or let down.

A displeased onlooker commented, “‘Halle Berry’s attire was shameful, it exposed her private region,’ accompanied by an embarrassed emoji.

I’ve found myself compelled to voice a concern: This requires a caution. Meanwhile, I was left wondering aloud: Where might her undergarments be kept?

This year, the theme for the Met Gala was “Superbly Tailored: The Elegance of Black Style,” inspired by Monica L. Miller’s book, “Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Expression of Black Diasporic Identity.” The dress code was “Dress to Impress: Custom-Tailored for You.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I delight in exploring and appreciating diverse fashion histories, and today, I’d like to highlight an intriguing style movement that deserves recognition: Black Dandyism. Rooted in Europe, this elegant trend emerged post-Emancipation and truly blossomed during the vibrant Harlem Renaissance era.

He also pointed out that the design elements of the dress reflect the spirit of the theme, featuring dramatic silhouettes, high-end materials, and a daring audacity.

Smith explained to Vogue that his creation embodies the concept’s idea of self-expression and having the courage to express yourself through your appearance and clothing choices.

LaQuan described the overall look as ‘a mix of sexy-Bond-girl meets Harlem Renaissance.’

As I spoke to Vogue, I emphasized the joy of collaborating with Halle. I expressed, ‘She possesses a firm grasp of her identity and an impeccable sense of style, yet she remains highly collaborative. During our fitting sessions, she wasn’t merely slipping into a garment—she was sculpting it alongside me.’

He remembered that she insisted on specific adjustments to improve her fluidity, and together they experimented with open sections to achieve a harmonious blend of sophistication and daring. Her ideas were always purposeful, stemming from her desire to experience the piece emotionally rather than simply evaluate its appearance.

The designer, responsible for outfitting Ciara for the event, shared with People that he has consistently drawn inspiration from the spirit of the Harlem Renaissance and this swinging time period.

In my designs, I’ve consistently combined tailoring with a pronounced shoulder silhouette. My fondness for the ’80s and the audacity of Josephine Baker also play a significant role. Therefore, you can expect some traces of these influences in the overall aesthetic of my creations.

This year’s gala theme was inspired by the Costume Institute’s spring showcase, which spotlighted the style known as Black dandyism.

At this high-profile event, the hosts were none other than actor Colman Domingo, Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, rapper A$AP Rocky, musician and Louis Vuitton men’s creative director Pharrell Williams, with LeBron James stepping in to serve as an honorary chair.
