Hailey Bieber responds to rumors husband Justin will use her Rhode millions to pay Scooter Braun

It turns out that Hailey Bieber won’t be using the proceeds from the sale of her business, Rhode, to settle Justin’s substantial financial obligations to Scooter Braun’s previous firm, Hybe, after the transaction.

On Thursdays, a representative for the 28-year-old model clarified that it wasn’t true that the 31-year-old pop star was delaying resolution of his financial disagreement with his ex-manager, waiting instead for Hailey’s Rhode deal to be finalized and funded.

According to her representative, the significant sale of Rhode by Hailey is an impressive achievement in her personal capacity, distinctly unrelated to her husband and his professional matters, as reported to DailyMail.com.

It was stated by TMZ that Justin Bieber won’t be able to repay his loan to Hybe or the back commissions owed to Braun until he receives the funds from Hailey’s Rhode business. In simpler terms, it means that Justin can only settle his debt and payments to Hybe and Braun after receiving money from Hailey’s business, Rhode.

In 2022, when Justin Bieber called off his Justice tour, Braun’s firm HYBE America stepped in to assist Bieber in repaying a substantial portion of the $40 million advance he had initially received from AEG – specifically, the sum of $26 million.

Last week, TMZ claimed that Bieber was said to have consented to repay the debt in installments over a decade, however, it is alleged that he ceased making payments to HYBE following the initial payment.

Previously, Braun asserted that Bieber, who revealed his upcoming album on Thursday, allegedly owes him multiple millions of dollars in unpaid fees for his services.

Following numerous discussions over the years, it has been reported by TMZ that Bieber is set to repay his debt in full, according to the agreement’s terms, which amount to a total of $26 million.

For Justin Bieber, it’s a victory as the Grammy-winning artist will now need to pay his manager, Braun, just half of the $11 million in alleged unpaid commissions.

DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for both Bieber and Braun for comment.

The latest report about reaching an agreement arrived just under a month since TMZ suggested that Bieber was discussing the specifics of a settlement with Braun, and it’s expected that all details will be finalized within several weeks.

In May, we disclosed findings from a reported audit conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), which had been contracted by the entertainment firm Hybe America, owned by Braun.

After a six-month long probe, it was concluded in April that Justin Bieber reportedly owes Scooter Braun approximately 8 million and 806 thousand dollars.

Despite not openly challenging the findings of the PwC audit, Bieber’s team revealed they had independently audited his business transactions with Braun.

However, they didn’t share how its results compared to the independent audit.

Regardless of claims about Justin Bieber’s supposed debt from another source, it appears that Braun was prepared to absolve the entire $8 million debt.

Alternatively, according to TMZ’s sources, it appears that there remain two significant obstacles preventing a deal between the two parties from being finalized.

The entertainment company, Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), provided Bieber with a significant $40 million payment upfront for his Justice World Tour that started in February 2022. This tour was originally scheduled for 2020 but had to be pushed back twice, first to 2021 and then due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

In the end, Bieber had to cancel 14 concerts arranged for June and July 2022 because he experienced temporary facial paralysis due to Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which delayed the start of his tour.

From late April 2022 until early September 2022, he embarked on a brief series of performances across Europe, the Nordic nations, and Brazil. However, he ultimately decided to scrap the rest of the tour.

Justin Bieber informed his followers that he felt extremely tired and needed to focus on his wellbeing, as advised by his physicians.

Regarding the canceled deal, it is said that AEG attempted to recover approximately $24 million from Justin Bieber’s initial payment. However, Justin Bieber’s company, Hybe, supposedly consented to cover this amount in lieu of repayment.

Responding to the claim, Justin Bieber was said to owe Hybe a sum of money to be repaid in 10-year installments. However, it’s alleged that he only made one payment before ceasing to honor the agreement.

It’s been reported that the upfront payment was a key issue for Braun, and it’s said that Bieber has now consented to reimburse the sum in question.

It is said that following the $1 billion earnings from the sale of her cosmetics brand Rhode, Justin agreed to resolve any outstanding financial matters with his wife, Hailey.

Interestingly enough, it was reported by DailyMail.com that Hailey’s family had expressed concern earlier, suggesting that Justin might exploit Hailey’s generosity to help clear his substantial financial obligations.

As a devoted follower, I’d like to share an interesting insight: A well-known divorce lawyer in LA has highlighted that, should Justin and Hailey decide to part ways, he might be entitled to half of her Rhode fortune, as it appears they didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement, according to DailyMail.com.

According to reports, Braun has asked Bieber to repay an alleged $11 million in unpaid commissions, a matter not covered by the PwC audit, which falls beyond its jurisdiction.

Yet, according to TMZ’s informants, Braun is open to negotiating the debt at a fraction of its value, potentially offering a significant relief to Bieber.
