Okay, so I’ve been playing HAIKYU FLY HIGH, and it’s a really fun RPG based on the volleyball anime, Haikyu!! It’s awesome seeing all the classic moments, but it does take some work to level up at the start. I put together this Tier List for all the HAIKYU!! FLY HIGH Characters – basically, it’s my guide to help you snag the best Wingmen to build a killer team!

In HAIKYU!! FLY HIGH, players fill different roles on the volleyball team. Each player excels in a specific position, maximizing their performance. The game boasts a large and diverse roster of 102 characters, all with their own special abilities and signature moves.

To succeed in battles, you need to position your characters strategically. While you can get some characters through the game’s random draw system, others are only available during limited-time events or promotions.

Best Wing Spiker in HAIKYU!! FLY HIGH

There aren’t specific guidelines for this role, but we have some suggestions to help you use it effectively. Characters like Hajime Iwaizumi, Ryûnosuke Tanaka, Asahi Azumane, and Kotaro Bokuto can also be helpful. Understanding what each character does well will help you choose the best one when you’re rerolling to get the player you want.

Best Setter in HAIKYU!! FLY HIGH

Okay, so Tobio Kageyama is an SR character you can get in the game. He’s pretty well-rounded – his stats are decent across the board. The downside is he doesn’t have any shared bonds with other characters. But, since you unlock him pretty early on, I’d definitely recommend leveling him up and making use of his skills and potentials. He’s a good all-rounder to get you started!

He relies entirely on skills that automatically activate, and his special move, “Jump Serve,” starts with a 220% boost to serve power. This increases to 235% as the move is leveled up.

Best Opposite Hitter in HAIKYU!! FLY HIGH

We highly recommend Wakatoshi Ushijima for this position. He’s an incredibly powerful attacker and server. His strong teamwork with Tendo and Shirabu will create a fantastic combination. By improving his skills, potential, memory, and skill resonance, you’ll make him an even more formidable player.

To get the most out of him, we recommend two different team setups. If you want a team focused on powerful attacks, try this lineup: Eita Semi, Reon Ohira, Satori Tendo, Tsutomu Goshiki, Kenjiro Shir, Taichi Kawanishi, and Yamagata. This combination increases the chances of powerful, critical hits. Alternatively, you could build a team around Oikawa and Iwaizumi.

Best Middle Blocker in HAIKYU!! FLY HIGH

We currently consider Tetsuro Kuroo the top middle blocker. He excels in blocking, boasting the highest block stat and exceptional flexibility. His signature active skill, Reactive Block, provides powerful defense, scaling from 235% to 250% of his block stat as it’s leveled up. He also benefits from passive skills like Conductor and Supreme Captain, alongside the Quick Attack active skill. For optimal performance, pair him with Kenma Kozume, as they have a special deployment synergy. Kuroo also offers solid stats in serving and attacking.

Best Libero in HAIKYU!! FLY HIGH

Currently, Yu Nishinoya is considered the top libero in the game. When he plays alongside Asahi Azumane, their combined strength is boosted through a special bond called ‘Guardian Deity,’ which improves both their attacking and defensive skills.

His special move, Rolling Thunder, uses 20 extra stamina and significantly boosts his receiving ability – by 220%. This boost increases to 235% at level 2. While all of his abilities are passive, they work well together when paired with a single, specific character, creating a strong connection between them.

Final Thoughts

If you don’t get the characters you want, we suggest using the reroll feature to try again. Keep in mind that some characters are very rare, so you won’t be able to get everyone from the initial free pulls. Before rerolling, check the odds on the pull screen. However, you can plan ahead and make a list of preferred starting characters, as the game often offers a selection.

HAIKYU!! FLY HIGH doesn’t drastically overpower most players, though a select few are exceptionally strong. These powerful players still need your guidance, as you’ll be assigning them to various positions. By strategically utilizing their skills and improving them, you can turn them into unexpected champions.
