Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter Apple breaks silence on claims she was expelled from school for bullying… amid ‘mean girl’ drama

Apple Martin, the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, has denied reports that she was kicked out of school for bullying behavior.

I was really surprised to see the claims about this 21-year-old – she immediately took to Instagram Stories on Monday to say they weren’t true at all. It’s good she addressed it so quickly, and I believe her – it all seemed completely made up.

Martin, who recently announced her plans after college, reposted an old comment where she said she simply wanted to share a short message.

Honestly, I felt bad even replying, but this story going around is just completely untrue and it’s spiraled way out of control. I had to say something!

‘I have never been expelled from any school, especially not for bullying anyone,’ she added. 

Martin continued, saying he totally accepts that not everyone will like him, and that’s perfectly fine. After all, the internet is a platform for people to express what they think.

This rumor isn’t true at all. It’s not something I would ever do, and people who know me well can vouch for that. ❤️

In 2024, Martin was accused of bullying after a video surfaced showing her allegedly interrupting another debutante’s photoshoot and appearing dismissive of her own date at the Le Bal des Debutantes in Paris.

According to a source familiar with Gwyneth Paltrow, her daughter is a kind and supportive friend to other girls, and definitely not someone who is cruel or catty.

‘Apple’s more playful and fun and she’s really a total girls’ girl,’ the source said.

She would never intentionally overshadow anyone, and it’s unfair to portray her as someone who’s unkind or malicious.

She had a truly lovely evening, and I’m sorry this is overshadowing it. It was a really positive and enjoyable experience for her and her friends.

A video of a Vanderbilt University student gained widespread attention after appearing to show her interrupting another person’s photoshoot to try and get the photographer’s attention.

Later, Martin was snapped rolling her eyes at date Count Leo Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck.

However, a source told DailyMail.com that Martin and her wealthy companion have a friendly and positive relationship.

‘They had cameras on them all day long and they were playing around,’ they said.

‘It was in total jest and once again, not snarky, not anything negative,’ the source added.

Just recently, Martin shared in an interview with Vogue that she’s decided to pursue acting instead of going to law school after college, following the path of her well-known mother.

Martin will graduate from Vanderbilt University in May with a degree in law, history and society.

She talked about her earlier idea of attending law school, explaining that she went through a phase where she wanted to forge her own path, different from her parents’.

She also made it clear that she doesn’t plan to follow in her father’s footsteps as a musician – he’s the lead singer of Coldplay.

I’m not interested in being a singer. I enjoy musical theater, but the thought of singing alone on stage really scares me.

‘I love dancing and I love acting. My dream is to act.’

In a video for Vogue’s YouTube channel, Martin shared details about the cosmetic procedures she’s had.

I’m admitting now that I had lip filler once,” the celebrity revealed. “I believe I got it when I was eighteen, but I quickly realized it was a mistake because it made my lips too large.

She noticed people often assume she’s had lip filler, but she clarified that she simply puckers her lips and uses a lot of lip liner.
