After gracing the big screen with my Marvel Cinematic Universe character Pepper Potts in Avengers: Endgame back in 2019, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be joining forces on-screen once more – this time with Timothée Chalamet in Josh Safdie’s upcoming film, Marty Supreme.
As reported by Deadline, the upcoming movie is not a traditional biography of ping-pong prodigy Marty Reisman, but rather draws inspiration from his life and career in a more free-flowing manner.
The specifics about the storyline have not been revealed yet, as well as the role played by Paltrow’s character, which remains a secret at this time.
In collaboration with Ronald Bronstein, Director Safdie penned the screenplay. Together, they will team up with Eli Bush, Anthony Katagas, Timothée Chalamet, and production company A24 to bring the film to life.
Recently, Gwyneth Paltrow featured in the Netflix show titled “The Politician“, a series she starred in as it was created by her spouse Brad Falchuk. Additionally, she co-hosts “The Goop Podcast” alongside author Cleo Wade.
Meanwhile, Chalamet will be playing the lead in the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown.
Based on the book “Dylan Goes Electric!” by Elijah Wald, the upcoming film will delve into Bob Dylan’s early years as an aspiring songwriter in bustling New York City. It will chronicle his journey, highlighting his metamorphosis into a groundbreaking figure of the folk-rock genre following his performance at the Newport Folk Festival.

As of now, Marty Supreme is still without a confirmed release date. On the other hand, the movie “A Complete Unknown” will be screened in the United States on Christmas Day, specifically December 25th, and in the United Kingdom on January 17th, 2025.
