Gwyneth Paltrow recently shared how uncomfortable it was watching a movie with her teenage son that included intimate scenes between her and Timothée Chalamet. She described the experience as very awkward.
In an interview on Late Night With Seth Meyers, 53-year-old actress Natalie Portman admitted it was awkward for her 19-year-old son, Moses, to see her filming intimate scenes with Timothée Chalamet, 29.
Meyers playfully recalled attending movies with his mom that featured sex scenes, adding that it was always awkward because his mom wasn’t in the scenes.
Gwyneth explained that he’d always been this way, demonstrating by pretending to hide and cover her face. She added that he simply wasn’t comfortable with it.
Okay, so Gwyneth – my queen, honestly – casually dropped that she told Moses about her… scene in that movie, ‘Marty Supreme’! Can you believe it? She prepped her son! It’s just… she’s so open and honest, and I love that she didn’t shield him. She has Apple, who’s all grown up now at 21, and Moses, and she just… communicated! It’s amazing, honestly. She’s a fantastic mom, and I’m obsessed with how she handles everything, even… that.
She wasn’t overly worried about it, remembering how another family member had casually reacted to her nude scene before.

Gwyneth explained it’s amusing how certain experiences seem to come straight from the movies. She recalled being nervous taking her grandfather to the premiere of ‘Shakespeare In Love,’ because she had a nude scene where she was portraying a male character. She worried about explaining it to him.
She explained that she was trying to prepare him, but he interrupted, saying, “I’ve seen this before. Two eggs, sunny side up,” imitating what she described as a very exaggerated New York accent.
Gwyneth explained she’d been trying to come up with a similar message for her son, but couldn’t quite find the right words.
Honestly, I just think she should have shared it with Moses! Like, leave Grandpa’s original story alone, you know? It was perfect as it was, and I wish she’d just told it to him and let it be. Why mess with something so beautiful?
Her latest movie is receiving excellent reviews, with 91% of top critics on Rotten Tomatoes giving it a positive rating.
The movie takes place in the 1950s and features Timothée as Marty Mauser, a ping pong player living in New York City. He makes a living playing ping pong and working at a shoe store.
He quit his job to pursue his dream of becoming a professional ping pong player, and his journey ultimately led him to a tournament in Japan.
Along the way, he begins a romance with Gwyneth’s character—a former movie star who’s now married to a businessman portrayed by Kevin O’Leary from Shark Tank.

I’ve been completely captivated by this film, directed by Josh Safdie! Everyone’s saying it reminds them of those fantastic, fast-paced thrillers from the 70s, like ‘Dog Day Afternoon,’ and honestly, I think Timothée Chalamet gives the performance of his career here. It’s truly incredible.
Gwyneth caught everyone’s attention on Late Night with her bright orange tracksuit, which she wore zipped all the way up.
The actress, known for her role in Iron Man, made a sporty outfit more elegant by pairing it with light-colored high heels.
However, she had changed into a simple pair of white sneakers when she stepped out in Manhattan.
Gwyneth stayed warm in a short, black puffer jacket, but kept the rest of her outfit as it was.
The Late Show taping was just the start of a busy evening for the actress.
Once Gwyneth finished filming at Rockefeller Plaza, she changed clothes and, along with her “Marty Supreme” co-stars, headed to the Empire State Building for a party celebrating their movie.
Gwyneth switched to a more stylish and warmer outfit, wearing a black, belted cashmere coat.

She changed into black heels with a decorative detail across the toe and a black suit. She paired it with a white shirt and a tie striped with yellow and navy.
Gwyneth was joined by her colleague, rapper Tyler, the Creator, who appears in the credits of ‘Marty Supreme’ as Tyler Okonma, his given name.
He was wearing a classic red and white varsity jacket over a cream sweater, a green shirt, pale khakis, and brown leather shoes. He also had on a green baseball cap.
Timothée was also spotted at the Empire State Building wearing a purple puffer jacket. It had a stripe that appeared to be made of suede going across his arms and front.
The actor from Dune wore a light gray hoodie, paired with low-rise jeans and purple sneakers that matched his jacket, creating a stylish look.
Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! I just came from the British Academy Film Awards screening – it was at the AMC Lincoln Square here in New York City, and it was EVERYTHING. I was practically shaking with excitement!
Tyler didn’t attend the event, but Gwyneth Paltrow and Timothée Chalamet were joined by the film’s director, Josh Safdie, and several other cast members. These included Odessa A’zion, known from “I Love LA,” Koto Kawaguchi, who played a ping pong opponent in the film, and Ronald Bronstein, a frequent collaborator of Josh Safdie who helped write, produce, and edit the movie.
Marty Supreme makes its debut in US theaters on Christmas Day.
