As a dedicated follower of the lives of successful athletes and their families, I must say, it’s always fascinating to witness the journey of individuals like Callan Ward and his wife Ruby Keddie. The sale of their North Bondi home for an estimated $5.035million is yet another testament to their financial success, a result of Ward’s dedication and skill on the AFL field.

Australian Football League (AFL) player Callan Ward and his expectant wife, Ruby Keddie, have recently closed a deal on their luxurious abode in North Bondi, reportedly fetching around $5.035 million.

The veteran GWS Giants player, 34, snapped up the property for $4.866million back in 2022.

According to an article published on realestate.com.au on Tuesday, it’s been reported that the semi-detached house from the 1920s, which underwent renovation in 2021, was purchased by a real estate agent based in the western suburbs.

According to Dion Markovics, a representative from Ray White, the exact selling price of the home remains undisclosed; however, there are strong indications that the transaction exceeded $5 million.

At first, the property designed by James Garvin was given an estimated value of $4.8 million, but later on, they adjusted the price down to $4.5 million.

This spacious four-bedroom, three-bathroom residence boasts an outdoor entertainment area, an infrared sauna, and a convenient backyard shower by the beach.

Indoors, the latest proprietor can expect to discover radiant heated floors, bathrooms tiled with both terrazzo and mosaics, a sturdy metal staircase, and an exquisite kitchen adorned in pink.

The listing mentioned that the house exhibits characteristics of contemporary modern architecture, showcasing intricate geometric shapes and spacious dimensions.

In December 2021, Ward finalized the sale of his Randwick property for a sum of $3.6 million, and within mere months, he had acquired a new home in North Bondi.

10 years ago, he purchased a property measuring 405 square meters for $1.51 million and subsequently carried out renovations on it. Among these renovations was the installation of a gas-heated swimming pool in the outdoor area.

Currently, the football celebrity continues to hold a property from the 1920s in Bronte that he’s trying to offload using real estate agent Mark Yeats from R&H.

After Ward and Keddie shared their exciting news in October, I’m thrilled to confirm that they’re welcoming a new addition to their family – a precious little boy!

Back then, Keddie posted a video announcement on Instagram saying we were expecting our third son in November,” (or) “Keddie announced on Instagram that we were going to have our third son in November.

Ward and Keddie tied the knot at an Elizabeth Bay waterfront mansion in 2019.

Last November (2017), the well-known athlete made an extravagant, public proposal at a cinema in Melbourne.

Ward got down on one knee in front of a jam-packed cinema to pop the question to his girlfriend.

According to Ross Stevenson on 3AW, it became clear that the woman intended for her proposal to take place in a public setting.

Kris, an employee at Sun Theatre, informed Daily Mail Australia that approximately 170 individuals were present in the cinema on the evening of the proposal for a screening of Murder on the Orient Express.

Kris stated that it was incredibly beautiful, as he had meticulously planned everything in advance,” or “Kris remarked that it was extremely romantic, with his mother-in-law present too, and she was completely unaware of the surprise.

In a hurry, he dashed off to the restroom, swapped his casual clothes for a suit, returned, picked up Ruby, and escorted her out front of the movie theater.

As their unique melody filled the air and an image of them displayed on the screen, Ward popped the question to his future spouse.

In the year 2020, Ward and Keddie became parents to their firstborn, Romeo. Two years later, in 2022, they welcomed another son, Ralfie, into their family. This month, they are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their third child.
