The popular 2000 crime film Snatch, starring Jason Statham, will soon be available to stream for free, shortly after news broke that it’s being removed from Netflix.
The crime film Snatch is moving to a new streaming platform. While it will no longer be available on its current service, fans can still watch it for free on Tubi.
A common problem with streaming services is that they don’t keep shows and movies forever. Titles frequently move between platforms or disappear altogether. Thankfully, Tubi often steps in to help, regularly adding a selection of beloved classic films and TV shows that you can watch for free.
In March 2026, Tubi will add several action movies, including Guy Ritchie’s Snatch, the Rambo series starring Sylvester Stallone, Mechanic: Resurrection with Jason Statham, and Uncharted featuring Tom Holland.
Snatch Continues Guy Ritchie and Jason Statham’s Collaboration
This London-based crime thriller is the second time the director and action star have worked together. In the film, Statham plays Turkish, a boxing promoter involved in illegal fights, and finds himself in trouble with a dangerous gangster named Brick Top after a bad bet.
Guy Ritchie wrote and directed the crime comedy, and Matthew Vaughn helped produce it. Jason Statham, who first appeared in Ritchie’s earlier film, Snatch, is joined by Stephen Graham, Brad Pitt, Alan Ford, and Benicio del Toro in the cast.
Richie and Statham began their careers together in the 1998 crime film Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels and have collaborated on numerous projects since then. They are currently working on their sixth film together, Viva la Madness.
The upcoming thriller boasts a strong cast including Vinnie Jones (known for Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), Jonny Lee Miller (Elementary), Babs Olusanmokun (The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare), Jason Isaacs (White Lotus, Harry Potter), Camila Mendes (Riverdale), Ben Foster (Hell or High Water), and Raúl Alejandro (La Reina del Flow).
Snatch Was Continued as a TV Show
With a budget of just $10 million, Snatch proved to be a huge hit, earning $83.6 million around the world. Critics gave it a 74% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but audiences loved it even more, giving it a 93% score. It also has a solid 8.2 out of 10 rating on IMDb.
Although the original movie ‘Snatch’ didn’t get a sequel, it did inspire a TV series of the same name. Created by Alex De Rakoff in 2017, the show centered around a group of young con artists who find themselves mixed up with dangerous criminals. Unfortunately, it was canceled after just two seasons.
Snatch is leaving Netflix on Mar. 1, but heading to Tubi for free the same day.
