Singer Benson Boone, who has been nominated for a Grammy Award, is reportedly going to be in the new live-action Gundam movie. He’s been chosen to play a role in the film, marking his move into acting.

What do we know about Benson Boone’s role in the Gundam movie?

A recent report from Jeff Sneider’s The InSneider reveals that actor Boone will appear in the upcoming movie, joining Sydney Sweeney. While details about his character are currently unknown, considering the film’s subject matter, it’s expected Boone will pilot a large mech and engage in battles, potentially against other mech pilots or different opponents.

A live-action Gundam movie was first revealed in 2021, initially with Jordan Vogt-Roberts as director. However, the project has evolved, and Jim Mickle, known for ‘Sweet Tooth,’ is now writing and directing. Currently, very little is known about the film, including its production timeline, as director Zendaya is busy filming Season 3 of ‘Euphoria’.
