Guess who? Channel 7 star is unrecognisable in nostalgic wedding photo throwback

Can you guess who this Channel 7 star is?

To honor their 30th wedding anniversary, Mark Ferguson was showcased in an endearing flashback photo with his wife Jayne, as shared by Woman’s Day magazine – truly taking us back to earlier times.

At their wedding in the picturesque Cotswolds, Mark appeared dramatically different, flashing a broad smile alongside his new spouse.

In the quaint, less-than-romantically-named village of Lower Slaughter, they initially met and made the decision to marry on June 23, 1995.

On that occasion, Jayne appeared breathtakingly beautiful in a pristine ivory gown, accessorizing it elegantly with a bouquet of white blooms and a sparkling tiara.

With an old photograph came a caption, disclosing that the pair had revisited memories by going for a walk, marking their significant anniversary, and attempting to recreate a vacation they enjoyed 30 years prior.

The article stated that Channel Seven’s Mark Ferguson and his wife Jayne are commemorating their 30-year wedding anniversary by revisiting the locations they visited during their honeymoon in Italy!

Re-visiting Positano and Capri for their 30th anniversary, the pair disclosed that it had been three decades since they last visited these places, which they initially explored during their honeymoon.

Jayne shared with Woman’s Day that for about a week, we will be staying in Capri, at the same hotel as our past visit many years ago. Needless to say, we are eagerly anticipating this trip.

For thirty years since their lovely wedding, Mark and Jayne have had the joy of welcoming three sons: Jack (age 27), Ted (age 24), and Paddy (age 20).

Mark currently co-anchors Sydney’s 7News with Angela Cox.

Last year, there was much discussion about a possible dismissal of the seasoned newscaster during a major staff reshuffle at the broadcasting station. However, it seems that he has managed to keep his position.

At the time, Mark expressed his excitement for the new chapter alongside Angela.

‘I’m really looking forward to it,’ he said.

Ferguson stated that Ange’s contributions to the daily news updates will significantly increase – with added expertise, vigor, and flexibility, which will enable us to handle major events more adaptably when they occur.

Previously, there were rumors suggesting that Mark might lose his position as the evening news anchor on Channel Seven, due to a series of high-profile departures from the struggling broadcasting company.

Previously, it was hinted that the current news anchor might be swapped out with the weekend crew, specifically Michael Usher and Cox, from the network.
