She’s the well-respected Australian actress who gained fame from her leading role in the popular show McLeod’s Daughters.

Following her unrecognized appearance on the big screen in the 1988 movie “Evil Angels,” she proceeded to grace several popular Australian television shows.

As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but marvel at the versatile acting skills showcased by this renowned starlet. From her captivating performances in Stingers, Ocean Girl, Sea Change, and Rake, it’s clear that her talents have graced some of the most iconic productions out there.

She also starred as fan favourite Yola Fatoush in the ’90s teen drama series Heartbreak High.

Her latest TV appearance was in the Bryan Brown and Greta Scacchi show titled “Darby and Joan.

The skilled performer took on the role of John Ibrahim’s mother in the nightclub-focused series, The Last King Of The Cross.

It’s none other than veteran actress Doris Younane.

During the weekend, the 61-year-old woman, accompanied by her husband Bill Papakostantis, made an unusual yet charming impression as they ventured out together.

The duo was seen strolling around in Melbourne and Doris didn’t hesitate to flaunt her distinct fashion flair.

The actor wore a pair of oversized Gucci sunglasses that threatened to obscure Doris’ entire face.

The quirky ‘frameless’ specs featured rivets around the edge with  thin gold arms.

Without a doubt, the protective eyewear or accessories for the actor’s role undoubtedly cost approximately $850, as they safeguarded Doris’ eyes against the vivid Melbourne sunlight.

Doris chose a subdued style for the rest of her ensemble, going for a “noir” aesthetic during her excursion in Melbourne.
