Tonight at 9 PM on Channel 4, “In Flight,” a gripping new thriller similar to “Slow Horses,” will air. If streaming is more your style, the entire series can be found as a box set and is currently available for viewing.
The six-episode series boasts an impressive lineup of talented individuals, with Adam Randall, the director from “Slow Horses,” and Mike Walden, the showrunner for “Marcella,” serving as co-creators. The main character, Jo Conran, a single mother and flight attendant, is played by Katherine Kelly, who was recently seen alongside Eve Myles in “The Crow Girl” and with Siobhan Finneran in ITV’s hit police drama “Protection.” Other notable cast members include Bronagh Waugh from “Ridley,” Julia Brown from “Shetland,” Ashley Thomas from “Them,” Stuart Martin from “Miss Scarlet and The Duke,” and Corinna Brown from “Heartstopper.
Channel 4 characterizes it as an intense, suspenseful crime drama. The plot unfolds with Jo’s life taking a dramatic turn when she is coerced into drug trafficking following her son’s unjust imprisonment in Bulgaria for a murder he claims he did not commit.
The writers and creators, Walden and Randall, hinted that “In Flight” is their unique take on the noir genre – a blend of intense, stylish, romantic suspense with memorable characters and heart-pounding action.

They mentioned, “Jo holds a special place in our affections.” She’s just an everyday woman dealing with extraordinary challenges. We’re eager for the audience to get acquainted with her.
If you’re eagerly anticipating the fifth season of “Slow Horses”, why not pass the time by streaming the 2025 spy thriller “The Amateur”. This gripping tale, featuring Rami Malek and Rachel Brosnahan, is now available for your viewing pleasure.
As a gamer, I’d rephrase it like this: “I found ‘The Amateur’ to be a masterfully crafted slow-burn spy thriller. Some might find it too leisurely paced, but for those craving a classic experience in the genre, ‘The Amateur’ certainly delivers.
In Flight is now available on Channel 4. The Amateur is streaming now on Disney Plus.
The latest print edition from Digital Spy is out! You can grab a copy of “Oasis – Live in ’25” either at your local newsstands or online, now available for only £8.99.
