“Gripping” crime thriller that is “nerve-shatteringly suspenseful” is a must-see on TV tonight

Okay, so Sicario is on tonight, and seriously, you need to check it out if you haven’t already. It’s a super intense crime thriller – I mean, it really kept me on the edge of my seat. It follows Kate Macer, played by Emily Blunt, who’s an FBI agent trying to do the right thing. She gets pulled into this secret task force by a shady government guy, Matt Graver (Josh Brolin), to help with the whole drug war thing. It’s a wild ride, trust me.

The new film is directed by Denis Villeneuve, who also directed Dune, and written by Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone. It features a talented cast including Daniel Kaluuya, Benicio Del Toro, Raoul Trujillo, and Jon Bernthal.

The story begins with FBI agents Kate Macer and Reggie Wayne raiding a drug cartel hideout in Chandler, Arizona. During the raid, two police officers are tragically killed.
