GRID to power esports prediction on Sportstensor, Polymarket

GRID is now the official data source for both Sportstensor and Polymarket, providing the real data that powers their esports betting.

I’m really excited to see GRID and Sportstensor working together! As a big esports fan, I know how important accurate, live data is for making good predictions. GRID already has awesome partnerships with the major game publishers, so it makes perfect sense they’re powering Sportstensor’s prediction markets with their official match data. It’s going to make those markets even more reliable and fun to participate in!

GRID and Sportstensor

GRID and Sportstensor announced a partnership on November 7, 2025, making GRID the official source of esports data for both Sportstensor and Polymarket. Through this deal, Polymarket will receive real-time, officially licensed data from GRID for popular games like Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, and VALORANT.

Data oracles bring information from the real world – like sports scores or other data – onto the blockchain. They also handle smart contracts, and this combined information determines the results of prediction markets.

According to Dominika Szot, VP of Growth at GRID, prediction markets are quickly becoming a popular way for people to engage online. Because esports is inherently digital, it’s a perfect match for this growing trend. Ensuring accurate and trustworthy results is essential, and using official data is key to keeping predictions fair, open, and secure – all while enhancing the entertainment experience.

Leo Chan, CEO of Sportstensor, explains that prediction markets need reliable information, not just trustworthy participants. By working with GRID, Sportstensor can guarantee its esports predictions are based on official, verified data. This partnership will allow them to create more exciting and detailed prediction options for Polymarket users, all powered by official data sources.
