GRID, a German company specializing in esports match data and technology, has launched a new service called GRID Bet. This new offering focuses on esports betting and is powered by GRID’s extensive data resources.
GRID Bet
GRID is partnering with leading esports organizations – Riot Games, ESL FACEIT Group, and BLAST – to ensure reliable service, quick data delivery, and broad coverage for GRID Bet. These partnerships cover major esports titles popular for betting, including League of Legends, VALORANT, Counter-Strike 2, and Dota 2, giving GRID Bet a competitive edge.

For a long time, esports betting has struggled with solutions that didn’t quite fit its specific needs, and a lack of reliable, official data – even though esports are played digitally – has slowed down progress and new ideas. According to GRID CEO and co-founder Moritz Maurer, GRID Bet is addressing this by providing official, real-time match data through exclusive partnerships with major esports organizations. He emphasizes that official data is essential for creating a successful and exciting esports betting experience. This expansion demonstrates GRID’s dedication to giving betting operators the complete set of tools they need to confidently launch, manage, and grow their esports offerings with unique products powered by official data.
Tom Warburton, a co-founder of GRID, is becoming Chief Business Officer and will lead the company’s new division. He brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in both business-to-business and direct-to-consumer betting industries.
According to Tom Warburton, co-founder and Chief Business Officer at GRID, the best sports betting platforms he’s seen all rely on official data. He explains that accurate odds, efficient trading, comprehensive betting options, and especially live betting-particularly in esports-are only possible with data directly from the game server. Warburton is now leading GRID into a new phase, and believes they can provide an esports betting solution that meets the needs of betting companies and helps the industry grow.
More updates regarding products under this new vertical can be expected next month.
