Eric’s family announced with great sadness that he died on Thursday afternoon after a long and brave fight with ALS. According to a statement shared with RadioTimes, he was surrounded by his loving wife, Rebecca, and his daughters, Billie and Georgia, who meant everything to him, during his final days with close friends.
