In the latest suspenseful drama titled “Memory of a Killer“, starring Patrick Dempsey from “Grey’s Anatomy“, a prominent actor has joined the ensemble.
In the forthcoming Fox television show, inspired by the 2003 Belgian movie “The Alzheimer Case,” Patrick Dempsey plays Angelo Ledda, a skilled assassin who develops early symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease.
Dempsey will have Michael Imperioli, renowned for his roles in “The Sopranos” and “The White Lotus,” joining the cast. He will portray Dutch, a character who is both an expert chef and a ruthless criminal, and is said to be one of Angelo’s dearest friends, as reported by Variety.
Dutch operates a well-established eatery, a notable one within the Bronx, which functions as a cover for his illicit dealings. Although he often offers Angelo potential targets, it doesn’t mean that Dutch is inherently reliable or trustworthy.
Initially given the green light by Fox in May for a 2026 launch, the film titled “Memory of a Killer” is categorized as a gripping thriller. It delves into the life of a character who leads a perilous dual existence, concealing not only their precarious profession but also an even more lethal personal mystery.

Michael Thorn, head of Fox Television Network, stated about the forthcoming show (via Variety): “Memory of a Killer” has an engaging, persistent hook for its character that swiftly caught our interest.
In the vein of “24” and “House,” we’re launching an exhilarating new Fox series, featuring a morally ambiguous protagonist who encounters extraordinary perils. We can’t wait to collaborate with our trusted allies at Warner Bros. to bring this pulse-pounding drama to the small screen!

This series serves as the second English-language rendition of “The Alzheimer Case,” following the 2022 movie “Memory,” which featured Liam Neeson, Guy Pearce, and Monica Bellucci in prominent roles.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m eagerly awaiting the release of “Memory of a Killer,” but until then, I’ve been keeping busy with my role in the gripping world of “Dexter.” Following my appearance in the prequel series “Original Sin,” I recently took on a significant part as Aaron Spencer. The 10-part drama, which captivated audiences last season, has already been greenlit for a second round, a fact that was announced back in April.
Memory of a Killer is yet to receive a release date.
