Grey’s Anatomy star Chris Carmack wears denim hotpants in cheeky set video
As a devoted fan of Grey’s Anatomy who has spent countless hours immersed in the world of Seattle Grace-Mercy West Hospital, I must say Chris Carmack’s latest TikTok video left me both entertained and bewildered! The man can certainly play a character, but his denim hotpants and cowboy hat ensemble on set? Talk about blurring the lines between reality and fiction!
In a playful move, Chris Carmack, famous for his role on Grey’s Anatomy, posted a video straight from the show’s set. The actor could be seen sporting some eye-catching attire.
The medical series will come back towards the end of September (specifically, on the 26th), kicking off its 21st season. Notably, actor Carmack will reprise his character, Atticus Lincoln.
Before the debut, the social media accounts associated with the show shared a video on TikTok featuring Carmack and several other celebrities discussing their favorite aspects of taking breaks during filming.

During breaks,” said Carmack, casually slipping on a cowboy hat, “I prefer to relax and be quite contemplative.” As the camera pulled back, it became clear he was dressed in denim shorts. He then joked, “Contrary to popular belief, I don’t really enjoy having fun.
Another follower commented, “This is just like Chris, haha!”, as another joined in saying, “The jorts and western theme certainly fit!” A fourth supporter chimed in, “I adore those boots!”, while a fifth admirer of the show pointed out that Carmack’s styling was on point.
Besides Adelaide Kane, another actor featured in the clip disclosed that during her downtime, she enjoys traveling. Meanwhile, Niko Terho mentioned his fondness for eating “fish sandwiches at the beach” upon returning to his hometown, Barbados.
While fans were surprised by Carmack’s appearance, his co-star Camilla Luddington (who portrays Jo Wilson) has given a sneak peek into the forthcoming season. She confessed that she was left quite startled after perusing some of the scripts.
This morning, I woke up and found the first episode script for ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 21 waiting in my email. It was a surprise, just like any other day, we never really know what’s coming next, as you well know, Jess,” she said on the ‘Call It What It Is’ podcast last month.
I wasn’t warned about it, but this morning I found myself reading the script in bed, and let me tell you, I was quite surprised. I was astonished, to be honest, and yes, we’ll be returning next week. Incidentally, I have a table read scheduled for tomorrow.
The 21st season of “Grey’s Anatomy” is set to debut on ABC in the United States on Thursday, September 26 at 10pm Eastern Time. Previously aired seasons can be streamed in the UK on Disney+.
