Reality TV stalwart Gretchen Rossi is reportedly leaving The Real Housewives Of Orange County.
According to Variety, the reality star won’t be back for the show’s 20th season.
The site also alleged that shooting on season 20 will begin ‘soon.’
The 47-year-old actress has appeared on the Bravo show several times since 2008. After initially declining offers to return, she rejoined the cast as a ‘friend’ for season 19 earlier this year, bringing plenty of drama with her.
Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Gretchen and Bravo for comment.
From 2008 to 2013, Rossi was a main cast member for five seasons. She later made a guest appearance in season 12 in 2017.
The show also stars Emily Simpson, Katie Ginella, Jennifer Pedranti, Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, Heather Dubrow, and Gina Kirschenheiter.
The entrepreneur first appeared as a main cast member on RHOC back in 2008 during season four.
She was planning to marry businessman Jeff Beitzel, but sadly, he died in November 2008 after a long fight with cancer, before the show could even air.
Gretchen was a main cast member on the hit reality show during season eight, which aired in 2013.
Let me tell you, things really turned a corner for me when I met Slade Smiley, one of the original stars of The Real Housewives of Orange County. And honestly, I’m a big believer in going after what you want, so I decided to take the reins and propose to him myself! It was a pretty unforgettable moment, to say the least.
She left the show sooner than expected, but later returned for several guest spots in season twelve.
Rossi and Smiley also share daughter, Skylar Gray.
I can’t believe it! First Katie Ginella announced she was leaving after two amazing seasons – I was so sad to see her go! – and now Gretchen is leaving too? It feels like everything is changing, and honestly, I’m devastated. It just won’t be the same without them both!
On January 9th, Katie announced on Instagram that she won’t be returning for season 20 of RHOC after appearing on the show for two seasons.
‘While disappointing, it’s not entirely surprising after seeing how season 19 played out.’
Ginella expressed her sincere gratitude for all the love and support she received, saying it meant a lot to her. She emphasized the importance of representation and was proud to have been her true self, even when it was challenging. While this part of her journey is ending, she assured everyone that her voice and story will continue. – Katie
