It appears that, according to reports, Gregg Wallace was declined an invitation to appear on “I’m A Celebrity.” This decision came only a few days after he announced his intention to take legal action against the BBC due to his departure from “MasterChef.

The previous host, aged 60, expressed his interest in being part of the upcoming season of the jungle program, however, he asserted that he hasn’t been contacted about it yet.

In a TikTok post, Gregg displayed fan messages, one of which inquired playfully, “Might we catch a glimpse of you in the wilderness?

Gregg, whose position on the cooking show ended in July due to confirmed allegations of inappropriate conduct, expressed interest in participating in the upcoming series that begins in November.

‘No one’s asked me,’ he answered. ‘That’s in the air. I wouldn’t mind having a chat about it.’

According to reports from ITV and as mentioned by The Mirror, it is alleged that the presenter will not receive an invitation for the popular show.

An insider told the publication: ‘It’s a firm ‘no thanks’ from us I’m afraid.

‘Anyone expecting to see Gregg Wallace Down Under with Ant and Dec is going to be disappointed.’

Originally, the ex-host is said to have filed a legal action at London’s Royal Courts of Justice, and he declared he won’t exit without a fight.

According to the source, it’s been indicated that Gregg is getting ready to file a claim related to disabilities, primarily focusing on his autism diagnosis received in January.

Previously, he stated that no investigation into his neurodiversity was conducted during his time on MasterChef.

In his statement, he mentioned that the autism, which had previously been suspected and often talked about among his colleagues during various seasons on MasterChef, has now officially been diagnosed.

According to a representative from the BBC, since they haven’t received any official notice about legal action yet, they can’t provide comments on the matter at the moment.

In response to being asked to assure that there won’t be another instance of BBC talent misusing their positions, Director-General Tim Davie hinted that further issues might surface.

The Australian-originated chef, John Torode, was let go from the show following a 20-year tenure due to accusations that he had used a racially charged slur, specifically the N-word.

83 complaints were lodged against Gregg regarding his behavior on the popular BBC cooking program. After an investigation, it was found that 45 of these complaints had merit, with 41 individuals expressing their concerns.

The findings of the review indicated that most of the valid claims made against Wallace were related to inappropriate use of sexual words and humor.

Additionally, it was verified that a few claims about improper language and instances of being in an inappropriate state were true, along with one instance of unacceptable physical interaction.

Originally, the ex-presenter of Eat Well for Less? admitted to The Sun that although he didn’t outright deny all accusations, he felt certain aspects may have been misunderstood or misrepresented.

Gregg stated that out of approximately 4,000 individuals he’s collaborated with, a mere 0.5% expressed dissatisfaction or criticism towards him.

He explained that his actions stemmed from learned behavior, influenced by office environment, and furthermore, suggested that his recently diagnosed autism had an impact as well.

He acknowledged, in simple terms, “I’m aware that I can sometimes be different. I understand it might be challenging for me to grasp other people’s feelings correctly. People may find my behavior unusual at times. However, I have autism, which is a recognized and official disability.

Previously, Gregg stated that he believed the BBC did not offer adequate assistance for his specific needs while he was employed at MasterChef for two decades.

He had long been suspected of having a unique brain function, later confirmed as autism, which his peers on MasterChef had talked about over many different seasons, according to him.
