Greg O’Shea and Jeanni Mulder are married! Former Love Island winner exchanges vows with model fiancée in ’emotional and intimate’ wedding ceremony – ten months after romantic New Year’s Eve proposal

Greg O’Shea, who won Love Island in the past, has tied the knot with his partner, Jeanni Mulder. They had a small, private wedding with only their closest loved ones present.

The 30-year-old Irish rugby player announced the news on Instagram Tuesday, sharing photos from their wedding day.

The newly married couple shared a loving kiss in a photo, surrounded by their friends and family as they celebrated.

Jeanni looked beautiful in her white lace wedding dress. It had a strapless design, a laced-up back, and a traditional white veil.

Meanwhile, Greg looked dapper in a timeless black-and-white suit as he embraced his new wife.

Greg shared some classic-looking professional photos from the wedding, and wrote in the caption, ‘Mr. & Mrs. O’Shea… It was an intimate, emotional celebration – exactly what we hoped for.’

Yesterday marked the beginning of our married life together, as we got married surrounded by our closest family and friends.

Fans and celebrity friends showered the couple with love and congratulations after their announcement.

Una Healy congratulated the couple, writing ‘Congratulations beautiful couple xx,’ and Chris Taylor from Love Island simply said, ‘Congratulations good sir.’

Former Love Island contestant Matthew MacNabb shared a congratulatory message, writing, ‘That’s lovely! Congratulations to both of you.’

The couple’s big day comes just over two years since they first met back in 2022.

Jeanni was urged to privately message Greg on social media after connecting with some Irish women while on a trip to Bali.

Greg shared that he and Jeanni connected after Irish women heard him on a podcast. They thought both of them were a little ‘cringy’ and encouraged Jeanni to reach out to him on social media, which she did.

The athlete confessed he first suspected the beautiful blonde was a fake online profile, but they quickly fell in love.

He admitted he initially suspected she wasn’t who she said she was. They started talking on WhatsApp, then video-called, and eventually she flew to Dublin to meet him.

Concluding his recount of their love story, Greg added: ‘Two years later, she lives with me!’

The Irish celebrity rose to prominence in 2019 when they won the dating show with their partner at the time, Amber Gill, who is now 28 years old.

Six years later, Greg met Jeanni and fell in love. He proposed to her during a romantic New Year’s Eve celebration.

Greg revealed on Instagram in January that he proposed to Jeanni at midnight, and she was completely surprised.

Greg shared the sweet video of himself crying tears of joy when Jeanni accepted his proposal, captioning it with: ‘3, 2, 1… a perfect way to kick off the new year!’

The rugby player also shared photos of his then-fiancée and her beautiful engagement ring.
