As an ardent fan of all things Taskmaster, I find myself utterly captivated by Greg Davies’ dreams and aspirations for the show. The idea of Prince William participating in the series is nothing short of amusing, considering his apparent disinterest in returning their calls! Yet, it’s Ryan Gosling that truly sets my heart aflutter. A man known for his comedic prowess and captivating charm, I can hardly wait to see him squirm under Greg’s unrelenting scrutiny.

In simpler terms, Greg Davies from Taskmaster has shared the famous celebrity he wishes would join their hit show and also mentioned a member of the royal family who hasn’t responded to his phone calls.

On Monday night, the comedian along with his fellow creator of Taskmaster, Alex Horne, wore radiant grins at the 63rd Rose d’Or Awards.

On that occasion, they celebrated a victorious evening since their cherished series was awarded the prize in the category of Comedy Entertainment.

In a moment of self-congratulation, the amusing pair shared some well-known figures they aspire to have join the program, names that top their dream guest list.

‘We want Prince William on it, but he hasn’t returned our calls, not once,’ Greg, 56, joked.

Meanwhile, Alex, aged 46, proposed the idea of adding one of Elon Musk’s kids as a possible choice. On the other hand, Greg disclosed that his aspirations lie within Hollywood, specifically aiming for Ryan Gosling.

According to the Inbetweeners star, he desires Ryan Gosling for the show, as he finds him quite amusing. He believes this could make Gosling more relatable or down-to-earth.

It comes as Greg announced last month that he was leaving Twitter, now known as X, for good.

Addressing his decision exclusively to TopMob at the awards, he explained: ‘Social media is just not a good thing for me, I get very easily drawn in and waste too much time.’

He went on to reveal that he was ‘amazed’ to be named in a list of celebs who left the platform in the wake of Donald Trump’s election win.

He stated, “I didn’t express any political opinions when I departed from Twitter. I simply decided I no longer wished to be on that platform.” He added, “I hold no ill will towards those who choose to stay there; may they find success!

On celebrating their own win, Greg and Alex kept their plans light-hearted.

They joked about taking four drinks, then shared their idea for a unique ‘Christmas bash for two,’ which they planned to have at their preferred Nordic bar located in London’s West End.

Greg confessed that he often finds it astonishing how people in various parts of the world enjoy Taskmaster, as he pondered over its global popularity.

Meanwhile, the dominion of Taskmaster keeps growing, boasting 17 completed seasons and a freshly debuted spin-off, just last month.

In this scenario, the role of Junior Taskmaster is taken by an individual who oversees a competition involving 25 youngsters, all falling within the age range of 9 to 11 years old. Their goal is to emerge victorious and take home the coveted Golden Head trophy.

But for the spin-off, Greg handed over the reins to Rose Matafeo, 32, and Mike Wozniak, 45.

In an interview with Radio Times in October, he stated: “I might be too frightening for kids, and I can’t control myself.

At King’s Place in London, the 63rd Rose d’Or Awards took place, gathering numerous television industry experts and celebrities to celebrate exceptional accomplishments and creativity across international TV productions.

In the group of victors was Gary Oldman, a 66-year-old actor who won Performance of the Year, recognized for his depiction of Jackson Lamb in Slow Horses, a role that earned him an Oscar.

Upon his victory, the actor known as the Oppenheimer Star expressed: “It’s been an absolute joy to play Jackson Lamb. To receive the Rose d’Or award for this role is truly astonishing.

Currently, Ambika Mod, aged 29, has been honored with the Emerging Talent Award due to her impressive debut role in the popular romantic film titled “One Day”.

‘Thank you for thinking of me and my work,’ Mod said.

Working in this field as an actor is truly an honor, and being acknowledged in ways like this makes it even more rewarding.

Some other significant victories were claimed by “Netflix’s Squid Game: The Challenge,” winning the Competition Reality category, and “Baby Reindeer,” another mini-series from Netflix, which took home the Drama award.
