room6 Inc. revealed its new adventure game, Green Light, which will be available on Android, iOS, and PC in 2026. The game is being developed by hako life and is inspired by the upcoming album of the same name by singer-songwriter Yanagi Nagi, scheduled for release on February 28, 2026.

The story takes place in a once-bustling mining town that has mostly been lost to time. Locals say everyone shares the same beautiful dream each night, and people now travel there hoping to experience it. This keeps the hotel where Midori works surprisingly busy.

Players can uncover clues in the Day World and solve mysteries with them in the Night World

Honestly, what really grabbed me about this game is the way it’s divided between the Day World and the Night World. During the day, you’re hanging out at the hotel where Midori works and meeting all sorts of interesting guests, each with their own story to tell. And it’s not just chatting – if you help them out and really listen, you start to piece together clues about this really weird town. It’s a clever way to reveal the mystery!

I’m especially excited about the Night World. It’s a fascinating place where you explore imaginative dreamscapes – think fantasy, science fiction, and even romance. You use skills learned while awake to unravel the secrets hidden within, and combined with the beautiful, retro arcade style, I think it’ll be a really enjoyable experience.
