Graziano Di Prima announces surprising career move alongside fellow dancer Matthew Morrison – four months after being axed from Strictly

In July, I found myself let go from the BBC after allegations surfaced concerning serious misconduct I had supposedly displayed towards my previous celebrity dance partner, Zara McDermott.
Four months following his exit, it’s been disclosed that Graziano appeared in the film “A Paris Christmas Waltz.” This production featured him sharing screen time with Matthew Morrison, Jen Lilley, Jade Ewen, and Paul Freeman.
In 2022, Matthew lost his position as a judge on the Fox TV program “So You Think You Can Dance” following allegations of an improper romantic involvement with a female competitor.
Graziano announced his latest endeavor to his 248,000 Instagram followers via social media, expressing his excitement with the term “wonderful news.
Right alongside the trailer, I penned down my enthusiasm in the caption: “I’m absolutely thrilled to spread this fantastic news! The film where I was privileged enough to contribute as both an actor and a dancer, ‘A Paris Christmas Waltz’, is now accessible on Netflix!
‘Reaching this significant point, the film that initially premiered on The Great American Family, has now found a home on one of the most prominent global streaming services.’
He continued: ‘A huge thank you to Michael Damian for making this incredible project possible!
At present, you can stream it on Netflix in America, as well as in Belgium and France. I eagerly anticipate its arrival in Italy and the UK soon.

The Christmas film centers around Emma (played by Jen Lilley), who crosses paths with a once-passionate dancer named Leo (also portrayed by Emma). However, Leo’s love for competitive dancing seems to be waning.
However, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity presents itself for the novice to join the pro.
In the movie that debuted a year ago, Graziano takes on the character of Paolo. Now, you can watch it streaming on Netflix in America, Belgium, and France.
After a long period of silence, lasting several months, the dancer hinted at his comeback to center stage on Tuesday, marking his first public statement.
He shared a moody video of himself walking on a bridge at night time, before being joined by his wife, Giada Lini, who is also a professional dancer.
Accompanying the video, Graziano penned: “Dancing has always been the heart of my existence, my most ardent enthusiasm, the journey I embarked upon and committed countless hours of learning, hardship, and affection to.
Following some introspective moments, I’ve found my passion rekindled and my zest for dance is more vibrant than ever. I can hardly wait to immerse myself once again in the rhythm and freedom that dance brings me.
He went on to say: ‘The future unfolds as a vast landscape of unexplored opportunities, brimming with fresh aspirations and fresh obstacles. I look forward to embarking on this voyage with renewed vigor and motivation.’
To his loyal followers, Graziano expressed gratitude: “I sincerely appreciate each of you for your unwavering support. I’m excited to get back on the dance floor with the same passion and commitment as ever.
Looking forward to connecting with you again, either live on a stage or by introducing new endeavors that I can’t wait to unveil together.
As reported by The Sun, Graziano is seeking legal action against the BBC, hiring leading attorneys in an attempt to vindicate his reputation.
Lawyers at Whitestone Chambers have already scrutinized numerous texts and WhatsApp conversations, and they posit that the individual may have grounds for a claim of wrongful termination in an Italian court.
According to the source, Graziano believes he didn’t get a chance to present his perspective fully, and he finds it reassuring that his legal team considers there might be grounds for an unfair termination claim.
Additional information states that they have examined his BBC contract, suspecting a case for legal action. He is considering various possibilities, yet remains optimistic about clearing his name.
TopMob has contacted Graziano’s reps and the BBC for comment.
Last year, the production team expressed worries regarding Graziano’s behavior, yet the management merely issued subtle reprimands instead of taking stronger action.
The team is reportedly enraged because his dismissal wasn’t immediate, as they believed it should have been. This is due to their concerns about Zara being mistreated apparently being disregarded, which in turn allowed the situation to persist and Graziano to secure a spot on Strictly Come Dancing for 2024.
It wasn’t until they obtained a video, which appeared to show Graziano repeatedly striking Ms. McDermott, nearly nine months following their original complaint, that he was terminated from his position.
Graziano later confirmed and regretted his actions against Zara.
Speaking about his departure from the program, Di Prima appeared saddened as he expressed his remorse for the circumstances that caused him to leave Strictly, in a post on Instagram.
‘My intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime.’
In accordance with the BBC’s personnel procedures, I feel it necessary to withdraw from the show. I’m disappointed that I was not given an opportunity to provide a comment for the associated news articles. However, I understand the delicacy of the situation and am mindful of its implications.
‘There’s more to this story that I am unable to discuss at this time, but I am committed to being strong for my family and friends. I wish the Strictly family nothing but success in the future.’
In the year 2018, Graziano became a part of Strictly, and last year he danced with a previous Love Island celebrity as his partner. Unfortunately, they had to leave the competition in week six.
In the past, he teamed up with presenter Vick Hope, Loose Women’s Judi Love, and in 2022, he made it to the quarter-finals alongside actress Kym Marsh on a reality show.
