Gravity Game Vision, a part of GungHo Online Entertainment, announced that their new massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Ragnarok Online 3, will be available on both mobile devices and PCs in Japan. This is the newest addition to Gravity’s popular Ragnarok Online series, and the developers are currently finalizing preparations for its launch.

Ragnarok Online 3 is the officially licensed sequel to the classic MMORPG, faithfully recreating the original game’s world, character classes, and beloved features. It’s been updated with improved graphics, a modern art style, and completely reworked systems to provide a fresh and immersive experience.

I found the gameplay reveal surprisingly engaging, especially the guild siege mode called Emperium Showdown. It looks like a lot of fun – up to 40 players from a guild can attack another guild’s castle in stages, even using siege equipment like rams and ladders to breach the defenses and fight the opposing players.

While specific details are limited, the gameplay trailer suggests the game will have plenty to offer. Players can look forward to more player-versus-environment challenges, epic boss battles, a distinctive anime art style, dungeons to explore, and a rich story. However, I’m starting to feel overwhelmed by the constant release of new Ragnarok Online titles, like Ragnarok M: Eternal Love, appearing so frequently.
